  • i looove it

  • Just excellent. Beautiful.

  • Loved it .. Thanks!

  • Yaaaarrr! This is me in 2 years. I know IT!

  • Hi nice job which part of the oratorio is it from?would like to listen to it with the rest of the orchestra!

  • What a beautiful tone!

  • Everyone who criticises the Getzen Eterna piccs should be forced to listen to this over and over until they get it. I had a 70's Bach and it was a dog. Tried an Amati G picc a while back and it wasn't a bad horn, either.

  • Awesome!

  • Carl! Sounds great!

  • I have a Bach Trumpet, I wish I have a piccolo trumpet, about how much would they cost?

  • Wow - that sounds really good! You have a rich and beautiful sound - great job!

Hey, it's Mai Lan from Western Michigan University (I met you at Midwest in the Exhibit Hall looking for a large ensemble CD that I missed). Just wanted to let you know that it was great meeting you and getting to know you. Good luck with everything!

  • @FlameAlchemist007 thanks, Mai! Yeah, it's been a while since I made this video (Dec 2008). It was great meeting you too. If you still need that large ensemble CD just let me know, I could go through the huge stock-pile we have in the back. PS, we should look each other up on FB.

  • Wow Carl!!! Quite amazing. Good for you!! What type of pic are you playing on?

  • @avchris Thanks! It's a Getzen Eterna... got it for a great price at Hornucopia in San Carlos. Ahhh, i miss that place.

  • well done, sir

  • that's awesome bro! keep it up mayn!!

  • Wow, nicely done!

  • Nicely done!

  • yeah!

  • ditto on the nice comment.

  • What kind of trumpet is this??

  • @mannytrumpet

I believe it is called a "piccolo" trumpet. Has even been called a Bach trumpet. Mostly hear in baroque music, though you can hear a piccolo trumpet in the Beatles "Penny Lane."

  • nice!! :))

  • super!!!

  • simply exquisite playing

  • Great performance. Congratulations!!!!!!

  • complimenti! ottima esecuzione!

  • Amazing.

  • Great playing, keep up the good work.

  • In case anyone wishes to hear this in context, this excerpt is from the chorus "nun seid ihr wohl gerochen". Well done, your multiple-tounging skills are very well developed along with the rest of your playing!

  • Very good, but in the final, I think the high note could be beter.

  • Actually, the last few high notes were perfect. Keep in mind you are playing this with an orchestra and you don't want those high notes punching anyone in the face. Very well done!

  • wow wonderfu!
