i dont understand what knowledge or scale you guys are using to judge these two! eric clapton had a harder time because he was following buddy guy! buddy guy seemed better because his playing couldnt be compared to anything else of hes the first one to play! and btw CLAPTON IS GOD

Two guys revelling in their mutual ability, simple as that. These two had such admiration for each other because they were cut from the same cloth, albeit on different continents. Duelling guitars doesn't mean a fight - this is high end communication between two elite musicians who speak a language few others can tap in to. Certainly there's a few comments here that attest to that....

Man, can't you all just shut up and enjoy the bond that music creates? I mean, I've never seen this video before, and it looked a lot like Buddy and Eric were goofing around together, not arguing. So why is everyone so hostile on the comments? They both would have been saddened.
