I started learning this about two days ago. I can send you my transcription, as I don't play it exactly as you do for comparison purposes. Also I can't get a few of those runs. I haven't transcribed most of the non-chordal stuff, and I didn't transcribe quite in order, just the general idea -- don't have too much time.
nice man good feeling and playing and i love your specotor :D , i have question can u put some of your own stuff. i would like to hear it greetings from lindybass :D
For my videos I'm mostly running straight through an old Korg AX1B processor into my sound card, but at my shows I always use Carvin amplification (R1000 head, a 4x10 10.4Neo 1200w Cab, and a 4x10 BR410 800w cab, bi-amped with an 800Mhz crossover, low end into the Neo cab).
I use extremely inexpensive strings. I change them so often (every 2 weeks or so) that I can't really justify spending more than about $5 per set, until I find an endorsement. I've tried SO many brands of strings, and I'm more than happy playing on the cheap brands. :)
If you want an endorsement check out LaBella strings, they make strings called Super Steps, many extended range bassists use them (Jean Baudin, Yves Carbonne, Stew McKinsey)
Your not playing the exact bass part are you? There are numerous low notes that you don't seem to be hitting, or maybe I'm confusing your bass with something else?
There are two bass parts. There are arpeggiated chords throughout, like what I'm playing at the beginning. Then there is the solo part on top of everything. I'm playing the solo part.
Thanks a lot for posting this!

@jarhead4214 Hey man. I'm happy to help you through the parts you can't quite get! Just let me know where they are.
Nice bass, btw!

Awesome stuff. I just love how the pitch shifter makes all the finger clicks higher pitched too. Lol.

Hey Jason, I love this piece. I started learning it a few days ago and realized you had a video of it. Its helped a bit.
How far up do you have your pitch modulated?

Hey man,
It's only up a fifth, but I've since just gotten a new bass that I string E-A-D-G-C... it sounds a lot better that way.
How much of it have you learned thus far?
jmatthews13 3 years ago
I have up till 2:00 perfect. Then I have from about 4-the end.
I have not had the time to really work out the solo section.
That is going to take me a bit. I'm awfully rusty on my theory at the moment. Any advice for that section?

petersonp715 3 years ago
You can't find them because there aren't any!
It's more fun to figure them out yourself. ;)

Maybe after I get my 6 string Spector I'll spend ages trying to learn this. If I can manage it, would be nice to make a video response to this one!

Ohhh, sorry. Didn't notice that, good playing though. Gives me something to listen to and a new artist to check out.
