  • The camera angle definitely helped/ Thanks so much!

  • Thanks man, this helped a lot especially since you brought the camera around to your back so we can see a first-person-view on how to tie a knot. Using this in my job interview, thanks again!

  • Thanks man

  • Thanks ••••••

  • after 5 or 6 quite professional vids this was the first which helped out .. thx!

  • This was a really well done video. Seeing it tied from my own perspective was extremely helpful, and definitely helped me learn better than other videos I've seen. I needed it too, I have to dress up fairly often for things like my girl's sorority formal, and this made the preparation much easier and faster, thanks!

  • thanks man this helped alot especially on the POW part, because most videos are front views. Thanks alot ~ PlasmaDesignsHD

  • @raf7rdr Hey, it's never too late to learn man. I'm happy to help out.

  • thanks very much man. I've been wanting to learn how to tie a tie for about 5 years but always lazed out and got someone else to do it for me. Got referred to a video from the "top angle" from few friends and i picked it up almost first go. Camera angle is just purely awesome. thanks very much

  • @sssoaring2 This is cool man - when I shot this episode I high hopes that the angle would really help people learn better. I'm glad it worked. Thanks for the feedback!

  • indeed, i came here like 8 times already. definitly the best movie. its easy with the prespective. ssaved my life my life alot of times!

  • @MrAlb0t Hey thanks!

  • thank you very much it took me 3 time but i finaly got it right and i'll never forget it :)

good camera angel by the way it realy helps when you don't have to do it in mirror vieuw

  • @nelis54 Mirror view is a little tricky, isn't it?! I'm glad this angle worked for you.

  • Thanks so much! I'm a girl and I still found it useful because I love to wear a tie and now I don't have to ask my boyfriend to do it for me. (might even teach him the half winsor).Great POV on the video.

  • @NotOfThisAge Thanks so much!

  • damn i can make the triangle shape...

  • man the little end keeps becoming longer than the wider end why's that?

  • @zxcvbnm65801 This happens to me sometimes - you just have to start over again and use less of the little end when you get started. Pull more of the big side down toward your belt buckle and use less of the little side. It's as simple as that. Let me know if that helps any.

  • man this shit is so hard 10 videos and i still cant get it done

  • Thank you SO MUCH! :D

  • @The1FromTheSky You're welcome!

  • Very helpful thanks

  • @kenlyj7 Hey! Thanks so much for the great feedback!

  • Great video!

  • Finally, a first person view video. It get so confusing when you watch other people do it in an opposite view. Thank you so much! :)

  • @speedstrike15 yeah, the mirror-view can really throw you off. I'm glad I went with my gut on this and decided to film it in another angle. Thanks for watching this episode!

  • @StyleMinute StyleMinute!! Please keep making videos, I miss them a ton!

  • @xxbondsxx I miss making them as well. I'm going to launch some new videos soon and have actually approached to launch on a new style TV show (shhh, our secret)!

  • Man your a lifesaver ! I watched about 10 videos and was lost. After about three -4 tries I tied a pretty smooth not with this video. Thank You !

  • thanks for the help

  • You're a great teacher, and that camera angle makes perfect sense... why didn't anyone else think of doing that in their videos? thanks big time.

  • Thank you so much! You just saved me! My 10yo son wanted to wear a tie to school today and thanks to this tut we got it done!

  • Extraordinary, man~

    The effect is decent!

I have bought a new tie and tomorrow is gonna to my new job wearing suit.

    Thanks your quick tutorial.

  • he didn't adjusted it correctly. The big end didn't hit the buckle length.

  • Thank sir. You video by far was the most helpful i looked at about 5 other videos but urs was the only one that can show me exactly how to do it. thank you for the over the top view it was extra helpful

  • @RealHipHopTiLLiDrop You're more than welcome!

  • Your tie knot came out too big and is much too short. You have to be careful and tell your audience to leave enough length so the front tip of the tie reaches the top of your belt or very near the waist.

  • what a great video the only one that shows you how to to tie a tie facing the same direction. i was attending a dead firemans funeral here in chicago and i needed to tie my uniform tie what a life saver thankS VERY MUCH!

  • what a great video the only one that shows you how to to tie a tie facing the same direction. i was attending a dead firemans funeral here in chicago and i needed to tie my uniform tie what a life saver thank very much!

  • Thanks, I learned a four in hand in the service years ago,but think the half windsor looks better, yours is the easiest instructions yet. was getting frustrated with other videos on you tube showing how this is done.

  • Great video. Awesome job ! Very helpful. Thank you so very much !

  • @jazzedup2010 You are welcome! Thanks for the positive feedback!

  • I watched 6 videos ! And I came onto yours and I learned it ! LIFE SAVER.

  • @SteveSaeteurn Wow, that's awesome! I'm really glad I was able to help you out a little bit. Thanks so much for watching the show!

  • @SteveSaeteurn So true

  • @SteveSaeteurn Wow! I really appreciate it!

  • Thank you! Thats even better than the full windsor, this way is so easy and the result is perfect! Plus the POV makes it really effective and easy to use. Im going to be on christmas ball of our school and now I am saved of embarassing situation of wrong tied tie :-) Thanks a lot, you saved me Tieman!

  • Thanks you so much, now I'm ready for winterball! ;)

  • @HoffmannMoritz How did the winter ball turn out? I hope it went well for you!

  • THANK YOU SOO MUCH MAN ! MY MOM SPENT 40$ a tie on me and bought 3 and she said you better learn how to tie a tie. "Oh mom i will" i didnt know how stressful it was.Your video from the over-the-head perspective was awesome man thanks soo much!

  • @dtrsttyl You are more than welcome my friend! I'm glad your mom's $40 investment didn't go down the drain, -lol - thanks for letting me that the over-the-head perspective worked for you. I really wanted to do something different that would make it easier to tie a tie. Take care!

  • thank you so much for doing it in your POV so we can ACTUALLY do it ourselves! MAD PROPS!

  • @sunnyx213 I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.

  • Thanks for this easy-to-follow video, though I have a confession: I use a lot of your advice (especially on tying ties) to dress my preschool-age daughter, who somehow developed a love of sophisticated men's fashion. So your tips are good for four-year-olds too ;) Keep it up!

  • @340mps WOW! I never would have imagined that four year olds would ever be able to use the info I talk about on the show. I just had a little girl myself so I guess I need to be prepared if she is into men's fashion as well. Thanks for the message!

  • Cheers mate, you saved me!

  • @Moniles Cheers to you! Thanks for tuning in.

  • you saved my homecoming.

  • @alonsorazor Lol, I'm glad to help. What school do you attend? Hopefully homecoming was great this year.

  • Why don't other tie videos show how to do it in a different angle?

  • @intex200 I'm glad you liked the angle - I never saw anyone else do so I figured I'd go ahead and be the first one on YouTube to incorporate the over-the-shoulder view. It seems to make tying a tie a little easier.

  • Why don't other tie videos show how to do it in a different angle?

  • @intex200 That was the same question I had when I did this episode. I think I may be the only one that has done it this way but hopefully more people will do the same - it just makes it easier to learn to tie a tie when you can see it from your perspective.

  • Man your a life saver! Very helpful video- thanks!

  • @andeace23 Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked this episode.

  • @andeace23 Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm glad I could be some help to you.

  • @Dagz20 Thanks so much, Dagz20! I really appreciate the feedback.

  • Hey Craig thanks a lot for this,...your mom told me to check you out....not really sure why a half Winsor is preferred over the full, I actually like the full. I'll check out the other SM videos....this is great information...thanks.

  • @BLACKSTARSHABACH I'm glad you stopped by to check out the show. Let me know what you think of the other episodes.

  • Thanks a lot bro, as you can see I was up pretty late on my Father's Day looking for new ways to make my ties standout.... You made it easy.

  • Actually, I'm his Mom!! And the thanks goes to you.

  • Thank you, it's been a while, teaching my 14 year old son how to do this. Thanks to you, he will look great!

  • @Rainbowologist Hey, I'm glad you and your son have this opportunity to bond - he will never forget the time his dad taught him to tie a tie. I'm just happy to help. Take care!
