Great playing from the pianist. but if there is a such thing as over-dramatic in music, I'd say it was a little too over the top with all of the wacky faces.
@forizzlewtf1 Pretty much. I've seen a few jazz pianists do this, it's truly incredible. If he were personally mic'd, you'd probably hear him singing the notes he's playing. The last time I actually saw that happen was at Dizzy's Club Coca Cola in Jazz at Lincoln Center in NY.

This was performed when? Early 80s? A lot of the artists here have really aged since then, just amazing with time they still play in teir unique ways if you listen to any of them now.
Esses músicos conseguem transmitir seus sentimentos para o público isso é muito difícel ,mas ninguem merece a bochexa do Dizzi,o cara parece um sapão!
Listen to swedish saxophone player Magnus Lindgren. I find this video amazing, and you probably hate me, but I would say Magnus on the album Paradise open is equaly good.
Dizzy Gillespie is just as good, even better. But you gotta understand, he's getting old, his lungs aren't as strong as before. That's why you don't see him going all out.
As a trumpet player, it was really hard to get past Arturo Sandoval's big, fat, blistering F above double-high C near the beginning of this clip. Wow! But the solos here are also very nice: Paquito (clarinet, alto sax), Slide Hampton (trombone), and Claudio--all wonderful. I especially liked their solo trade-offs near the end of this clip. Nice!
