I drove through Erie yesterday and read the local paper. Before this story broke in the local news media, the drunk cop and another cop from Internal Affairs (the part of the police department which is supposed to police the cops) went to the brother of the guy who posted this video and threatened to charge him with a crime if he did not remove this video.

Seems the cops were more concerned with removing the video then disciplining a brother officer.

Sandy, not sure on the exact rule for police, but I know for Erie Fire they must live in the city for their first two years on the job, then they can move wherever as long as they are within 15 miles of City Hall.

As for Officer Cousins...he needs to be FIRED!!! Not only has he possibly compromised a murder investigation, he has disgraced the CIty of Erie Police Department.
