How did you know it was referred pain? I assume from previous work on or knowledge of Corina. How does a massage therapist normally approach referred pain?

@VRJensen1 That is the 'detective' work. Actually you can figure where the source is as you find the restrictions in the fascial structures. Posture often will show it, shoulder placement, hip placement or such things as rotations etc. It is also practice and intuition.
