Combined with the fact that it's built to hold grain, which has a tendency to spread out, and the fact it's SOUTH DAKOTA for crying out loud, of COURSE it wouldn't fall down.

I was in Sioux Falls when this building was supposed to be imploded. The fault wasn't with the exposives, the bed rock or foundation was weaker than expected. The combined weight of concrete and the foundation provivded the end result.
or they didnt expect a 100 year old building to be able to stand being dropped 3 floors. Thats ok tho geniuses im sure the demolition professionals hav no idea what there doing :)
