I didn't think it was AWFUL, but I definitely thought that they could have covered A LOT more techniques, and the girl on the DVD and the painter were really annoying, the wet palette part was ridiculously stupid...

I completely agree. Even the guy that is the painter reminds me of some of the infomercial people you see nowadays (Billy Mays, etc).

I own it and I'm a little bummed out by it. It could've been much better. It's the only painting DVD I own so far. I need better painting DVDs.

Have you checked out Miniature Mentor or Jeremie Teboul's DVD's I like them a lot.

I've had Jeremie's for about 6 months now and I'll be reviewing it soon.

I have yet to pick up the Miniature Mentor DVD's, but plan to do so perhaps this summer.

I agree with you on the fact that it wasn't a DVD, I felt that it cut to many corners. The section on the washes for the raek model confused me as hell since at the time their were no washes being sold by the company. I wish there were dvd's on how to properly mix the paints to get the best desired affects.
