I remember my mom got me the vhs tape for Christmas when I was five years old. She got it for me because it had a bunch of running pikachus on it, and she knew I loved Pikachus. I would watch this repetitively, and I would cry at the last episode on the tape which was Pikachus goodbye!!! So sad! Sadly, my vhs tape melted when it was sitting in our van for too long, and about two years ago I bought the dvd of it on ebay. Not the same as the feeling I had with the vhs! So many memories from this one song... It's sad that kids just a few years haven't heard the song, let along fell the same way we do about. We saw it first on t.v. and were there through it all. After the first few seasons, almost nothing drastic happened besides some characters leaving for new ones, so we must cherish the truly memorable moments that made us love this series in it's prime.
