Anyway, it's pretty clear that Ian is not "taking the piss" at Jay - Z. He expressed his genuine admiration of him, which many artists do.
The fact is it's not me who just likes it, which Ian brown is a perfect example of. There are many who like hip hip whom you wouldn't expect too. The truth is, it's world wide and it's popular.
As a side note, in Hip Hop the emphasis is not the instrumentals. It's the word-play.
