  • I would like to see BJ compete in a big tournament now. What weight class is he?

  • @ajizzlejiujitsudog he fightin nick diaz in ufc 137 coming up...

  • @zakquack I'm saying a bjj tournament.

  • like it but i would probably use the spider gaurd & keep him in front of me might just be me but seems like less risk

  • if you came here to see a really upside down triangle: watch?v=jpxyMW4BQqc

  • @monkfg no offense to your ryan hall friend but bj penn would make his jiu jitsu look like a joke

  • @estafuego8807 wrong there buds.....

  • @TheDarceChoke mmmmmno not really, bj penn's jiu jitsu is rediculous

  • dont get me wrong ryan hall is a legit bjj practitioner but BJ penn is called the prodigy for a reason

  • Nice set-up but I don't love how he finishes by pulling down on the head.

  • @DiscipleOfPog pulling the head down is the finishing move, the proper way to complete the move otherwise it wouldnt b most effective.

  • @AisuyuXIII Kind of old fashioned - most guys finish by angling off now. But I suppose its quicker

  • @DiscipleOfPog Why? That's legit. It's just to add extra pressure on the choke, same as hooking the leg. Even traditional BJJ schools teach it.

  • @DiscipleOfPog That's how you finish a triangle..

  • When I first saw it I started using it in my gym. They were laughing now after submitting them with it they start working with it. Its a really nice guard, but like said below you shouldnt stay there if punches are allowed.

  • this is just a technique, as you see they start off with the guy trying to pass your guard if he happens to pass your guard, he shows how to pivot off of his body to not only regain guard but to slide right into the triangle.

  • It won't ever work as a full guard in MMA simply because you're extremely vulnerable to punches straight down (or worse stomps if you're fighting with those allowed). It does work great as a transitional position, but staying there for a long time probably wouldn't be advisable unless you have great control over the opponent's arms

  • Can you hear the crickets in the background? Sweet....

  • I love the inverted guard, but I dunno about it in MMAyour head is right there

  • i do it when i train mma all the time. However that said, it is more of a transition position than a type of guard, for MMA atleast.

  • nice. more people should be using upsidedown guards. the first guy i remember seeing use it in ufc was nick diaz, i think. even when your guard is seemingly passed you should be folding over, using your feet to fish for the person, to spin around, constantly working. too many guys just give up the side control or north south.

  • can i get a chilli choke from that posistion?
