That hasn't happened to me but for a while spore was glitching and making my cities on the planet visible through the water so you could see the city upside down in the ocean.

I've never seen this one before but I have seen one wher you place a colony and plants are floting and there are huge rectagonal riges on the planet

Probably a glitch in the planet coloration ocean. Spore is a relatively gltichy game. I had a glitch similar where the planet was invisible and spice was coming out of nowhere, but in some places, the planet was reflective, sort of what happened to you.

Yeah.  That's happened a few times to me in Space stage. I wouldn't worry about it. It's temporary.

One time this colony planet I had had that glitch. But when I logged out and logged back in the next day, it didn't have that glitch anymore.

I've seen some graphics glitches like that on other PC games.

In fact, it looks like many people encountered this. In "related videos", it shows a bunch of "planet glitch" videos.
