  • I'd love to see a great metal rendition of this. Though, this alone is badass as is.

  • In the classic series, Megaman 9 went back to Megaman 2 style.

Anyone else agree that Megaman X9 should go back to the SNES games' style?

  • I agree Capcom should've always stuck to the SNES style of the X series because Mega Man X1-X3 on the SNES were the best of the X series BY FAR! If the entire X series would've stayed on the Nintendo systems I have a feeling they all would've been great.

  • When I think of Megaman 10 it makes me want a sequel for the Megaman X series only that Capcom should focus on the similar designs as the first three of its series.

  • This theme is so dark I love it :)

  • Man, Capcom sure made it difficult for use to pick a favorite fortress theme cause they all sound super great!

  • anyone know where to download the midis so that i can put in a new game of megaman?

  • yes you're right

  • yes XD

  • this is my ringtone

  • @chrixnsa WTF! how ?

  • The synonym to MM2 Wily stage 1

  • @za909 not really

  • @skinnyhead2000 I mean it's just as epic :)

  • @za909 wily stage 1 and 2 isnt epic

    its overrated

  • @skinnyhead2000 I disagree. Aren't opinions wonderful? :)

  • @DarkMatterDoom yeah sure why not.

  • I feel that Megaman X3 was the strongest because:

    1. The music was the best. Almost every song pumped you up.

    2. Multiple upgrades. I wish I had the upward Air Dash in two, when the enemies would close the walls on you.

    3. Playing as Zero.

  • minus the playing as Zero. No matter what you do Megaman is always > Zero.

I loved how hard this one was compared to the others, just the perfect amount of hidden areas, etc to get and a challenge still to play.

  • I agree with CrappyBlueLuigi. MMX3 has some great memorable songs like this and Blast Hornet, but a lot of fucking terrible grating songs like Tunnel Rhino.

  • I dunno, I kinda liked Tunnel Rhino myself.

  • I rate X3 the best, then X2, then X. Those X's on SNES were the best. The rest of the series turned to garbage when it went to playstation.

  • garbage, crap, they don't work, yay 2d's!

  • It's fair to say that the ones for SNES were kickass, but me personally I did like X4. The rest were a bit depressing.

  • xD i played this game 5 years ago and i still think this is the best from the x series...and don't know u, but i think megaman is waaay better in 2d

pd: i still have the original game and i plan to keep it safe for a looong time

  • F*** GREAT!!!!

  • Cool

  • Anyone else agree that X3 had the best music of the entire X series?

  • I do : P.

  • hell yea, specially the music where Zero comes in!

  • ohhh yes by far

  • I think the real question is... Does anyone else agree X3 was the best game in the series :P Everything rocked about X3!!!!

  • Hell yeah!

Multiple armor chips, Zero with an awesome Buster AND his sword, multiple ride armors (with lifebars!), and in some cases some pretty damn challenging stages.

This game was indeed the pinnacle of the series. You know I've never seen it being sold for under $60.

  • don't forget the Sigma Battle!

  • MiDSinister, I got Mega Man X3 for $45 on eBay =)

  • Wowza! Thats pretty lucky!

  • X3, in my opinion, was definitely the best X game on the SNES. The main thing I don't like about it is the soundtrack. It has quite a few stand out tracks, but the rest are sub-par.

Soundtrack aside, though, the game is great. My favorite songs are Gravity Beetle, Blizzard Buffalo, and the song featured in the video I'm commenting on.

  • You liked Blizzard Buffalo's music? I hated it, but that's my opinion.

  • @CrappyBlueLuigi Blizzard Buffalo's, Tunnel Rhino's and Neo Tiger's soundtrack was kind of bleh!. I really liked Gravity Beetle's, Blast Hornet's, Crush Crawfish's, Volt Catfish's, Zero's theme, and the Doppler stages 1 and 2 soundtracks the most in this game. Overall I think X2 had better sound tracks.

  • @BassZ1890 agree x3 was the best x4 wasnt bad but as a story continuation of x3 it didnt make sense but i loved the ultimate armor.x3 went from dr. doppler to x4 which all of a sudden out of nowhere introduced the repliod force and dealt more with military political issues of war to x5 changing the story radically again never mentioning the effects of the repliod war :/ what u think

  • @BassZ1890 What I really liked about X3 was the Ultimate (Gold) Armor, the Hawk Mechaniloid, able to use Zero's Z Saber as a secret weapon for X, Zero's Z Buster Shots and Saber combo, and the widespread shot for X's Arm part of the armor. But I like X2 more. If they made a game with the combination of X2 and X3's features put together, that would be the best Mega Man X game there ever was.

  • @BassZ1890 x3 was good but the original one will be the best to me

  • @BassZ1890 If you ignore the x buster upgrade. That thing suck hardcore.

  • @MiDSinister mmmmm my vote goes to x2 for that. I hate stage select, stage selected and I hate weapon acquired theme for sure. and a few other tracks in this game are very miss, but then again, there are great tracks like this one

  • @MiDSinister ehhh i think x2 had the best music..x1 maybe..x3 was great but ehh... this tune is killer tho

  • @MiDSinister I liked X2's music the most out of the series but X3's is not too bad.

  • @MiDSinister actually no... no where close. alot of the maverick stage's music was bland as fuck. the boss music was completely lame. most of the music was really slow overall. so from the 3 x games i've played (all the ones for the snes) this one probably had the least best music. however, some of the music like vile's theme and doppler stage one was really good and i also like toxic seahorse, volt catfish and crush craw fish but that wasn't enough. by far the game with the best was x1.

  • @mindmonkey00

Gravity Beetle's theme was pretty upbeat man! And even though Blizzard Buffalo's theme was slow-paced, it was very melodic and awesome.

Also, Zero and X's intro stage music was pretty on-par with Megaman X1-2's music.

I get where you're coming from though.

  • @MiDSinister yeah sorry i forgot to mention those lol

  • @MiDSinister If it weren't for the difficulty and some of the music tracks (like Tunnel Rhino) I would agree X3 is the best in the X series.

  • holly shit this is awesome

  • this song is badass

  • I love this 1.

  • One of my fav tunes from the MMX serie.

  • that is one badass song.Nuff said

  • i love this song :P so fucking awesome

  • my favorite mega man song ever.

  • i second that (behind wily stage 2 on MM9)
