Easy to be wise after, but despite the worldwide zillion sales, this, was a really bad move for the Marms when you consider within 2 years they produced classics like "Reflections of my Life" ( self penned ) Why did they cover this? Recording Company pressure? - maybe. but they look SO young and enthusiastic.

Macca loved it - but it tainted the band to this day - which is a real shame, 'cause they were pretty fab. Great vid though, of a young band enjoying themselves

actually, the beatles did the original. I saw an interview with Paul McCartney on how they came up with the lyrics, etc. Check out the history. This band is one of the first that did a remake. They're great though......
