I own 2 SX SJBs, a 75 and a 57 and love both of them. The only mods I've done so far are swapping out the bridge with badass II and changing pick guards. I'm getting great tone even with the stock pick ups.

honestly though all those minor flaws kind of add character to be honest.

I love SX Basses. I might buy one, but I ABSOLUTELY HATE the new headstock design!!!

@frostyfingas : tell me about it!..my guess is that Musicman Basses has the same or similar headstock to the old SX basses which i love very much so Rondo Music had to change it... =0(

Well hey it's only $100. Those little extra spaces by the pickups aren't too bad. If you had some scratches to the paint you could say it's roadworn.

yeah I had some rough areas on my SX p/J fretless but honestly I kind of like it

since if there was one bass i don't mind relicing it would be the SX..no big cash loss and mucho character
