@annabatarowicz There is another documentary on the Jonetown tragedy called ESCAPE FROM JONESTOWN: LOST IN THE JUNGLE. It was a CNN documentary which aired in November 1978 on the 30th Aniversary of that terrible tragedy. And it's on You Tube if you care to see it.

Czechslovakia was an artificially born democracy, not the totalitarian state that didn't centered on a hero figure like Hitler's Germany and Jim Jones' Peoples' Temple. The Czechs loved their freedom as did the French, the Norwegians, the Belgians, the Dutch, etc...

Joseph Stalin's regime lasted only 30 years years. But in that short space of time, he murdered 20 million of his own people; not to mention thousands of foreigners, especially the Poles. Mao Tse-tung's regime only lasted 27 years. Yet in that short space of time he murdered 70 million of own people. Now let's see, Hitler started World War 2 which killed 60 million people, Stalin killed 20 million people, and Mao killed 70 million people.
