  • Great job Gav. It is always great to see younger folks doing Jimmy Rogers material. He is such a part of American music history. A few months ago I was in Meridian Mississippi and got to tour the Jimmy Rogers museum. It was facinating to see his guitar and personal items on display there.

  • Another great one, Jimmy Rodgers is one of my favorite singers.

You did a great job on this.

    5 Stars.

    Bill

  • Still sounding good Gav!

  • Good version !!

    really good yodelling too.

Hey man by the way...that monkey reminds me a bit of Mr Beans teddy bear

    lol

i bet that brightened up your day :)

  • What a great song Gav! And you did a terrific job of singing and playing it too! You nailed those yodels, they were excellent! Really enjoyed your cover of this song.... FrAnK (★★★★★)

  • The greatest yodeling song ever recorded, in my humble opinion, is Eddy Arnold's "Cattle Call." It's pure yodeling perfection! Blows me away every time I hear it.

  • man..you got the whole suit on!!! all you need is 3 diamond rings and youd have the whole shabang. in the words of hank jr about his daddy "he wore diamond rings and his taylor made cowboy suits" GOOD YODEL!!! GOOD SONG!!!! damn good job man. i always get excited when i see youve posted a new video....oh and you are getting better and better.*****

  • Wow Gav! I loved it, great job. Great yodeling!!! You are a very special performer, I enjoy every tone of your voice!

  • Wonderful Gav 5*****S

  • You yodeled well in that "long gone lonesome blues" too. Good job.

  • Very good!

  • Gav, Super great job, 5 stars

  • Hey Gav, good job on this song, I really enjoyed. Hey Gay, love that monkey! THANKS, C.W.

  • That yodel was awesome! I have Lefty's recording, but after listening to it just now, I notice he doesn't yodel (that part is played by a steel guitar solo). Not everyone can pull off a good country yodel! I know I sure couldn't. 5*
