World of Warcraft - Warrior and Paladin mob Taging

how mob tagging worked. well for world first 80. it was a pally tank and they grided instance about 20k exp per kill. took them 16hrs to get world first 80. ONLY the tank got exp and it required alot of cordination to drop group and re inv at the right times. this was a clever use of game mechanics and ended up getting hot fixed.

What I wanna know is HOW exactly you mob tag? Do you just pull a bunch of mobs and then have other people not in your party help you kill them?

@capcomXforce Yup, the one who gets exp is the one attacking the mobs first, dont know if it still works tho, the video was made in 08.

if none of you realized they fixed it the patch after wrath of the lich king came out. Athenes got one of his friends to 80 in the first 16hours of lich king launch

@fozzy267 Well, this video was posted 15 days after Athene's friend dinged 80, and im pretty sure you still can mob tag, and its legal.

And dont reply "If its legal, why did they downgrade Athenes friend to level 70 again?"

yes it works and it always will. if you watch a video by AtheneWins he said he did it with a pally tank to level him from 70-80 and they did it in 15 hours just by doing Utgarde Keep and then a better instance at 79 since they stopped getting xp in Utgarde at 79. He even spoke with a GM to ask if it was legal in the game and the GM said yes its just an effective mechanic used to level.

its the paladin , its concentration it does holy dmg over 8 seconds , 10 seconds with the glyph ,

well a warrior has trouble with getting them down fast while a paladin does loads of multiplier dmg so for mob tagging i'd prefer a prot paladin and some hints to do this to get em down even faster is by the sporregara shield(reverved) that works as an aoe deadly poison or skullflame shield with does a mini flamestrike hope this comment will help you
