  • Next up, from the 326th Training Squadron, Led by Staff Sgt Scott Swain, Hometown, Chicago, Illinois...Eyessss Righttttt. I sure do miss those days....Defensor Fortis!

  • I graduated from the 323rd House of Pain in 1999. I was the guide on and actually snapped it while doing eyes right during this part. My T.I. actually encased it and gave it to me. So many memories.

  • Too much bouncing is what my MTI would say!

  • Why do some Airmen wear different uniforms for graduation? Is it all depending on weather?

  • @MrRayGalan because it's too hot in the summer in TX. I'm leaving October 4th! Can't wait.

  • @trmahoney01

My ship date is September 6th.

Technically the 5th if you include leaving for MEPS and getting to MEPS the day before.

    2T231 baby!

Good Luck, I'll see you when you get there, just wont know it! hahahahaha :P

  • Air force does their guidon salute wierd

  • why don't they wear their jackets in some graduations (see related vids)

  • What's the beat they were marching to? I want to learn it

  • why do some of them turn their heads when they march

  • lol my sister is in the air force and my brother-in-law

  • @onesplash1 It's called "eyes right". I don't really understand it myself. Google can probably tell you. I have been in the USAF for a little over 9 years now and I never really understood it. I think it has something to do with the flight turning to acknowledge the Colonel or General or other high ranking people watching (there is always a General or Colonel at BMT graduations), while the person calling cadence salutes. The right column doesn't turn so the flight can still march straight.

  • @zoomie6421 It may be a way of saluting when in close formation, however I understand is as simply a way of recognizing a person or group of people that are present for the purposes of reviewing the formation. You could do "eyes right" for anybody not just a high ranking official. It could be a dignitary of some sorts.

  • my bro goes to lackland for training in 3 weeks, gonna go to his graduation this summer.

  • lol i wanna join so badly but i could never keep a straight face like this!

  • @djerikward It's called "eyes right." Only the first, second, and third elements turn their heads to the right. The 4th element needs to keep their eyes forward to maintain proper alignment with the trainee in from of them. This is done because the other 3 elements adjust, or "dress" to the right.

  • why are some of them looking to the side while others are looking forward?

  • I see these airman are wearing their coats with their service blues, is this done in the colder months? I've seen other videos where the airmen do not wear coats.

  • Semper Paratus, Always Ready, is the Coast Guard's motto.

  • Whos the MC, Lekisha?....should have had someone with good oral skills

  • OMG I forgot how bad american drill is...they just shuffle around together

  • @Fenixx117 haha deff not. watch any Marine Corps drill vids...youll see whats up. 3 to the front 6 to the rear, eyes forward. oppostion of arm swinging to leg. harder than u think

  • @Fenixx117

I forgot how stupid everyone else is around the world. Theyre new recruits. Civilian to Military in 7 weeks. Mostly academic in the USAF in the time spent there anyways.

  • @BurninC4rtrage They're ABU's now. And when I graduated we did. It rained the three days prior to parade and the field was too muddy.

  • yes

  • is that girl in front swanner?

  • ALRIGHT BLUE!!

  • first time we did close order, we swung arms in a natural way that was not permitted so this is what we also did (but i black and white in those days) lol :)

  • Semper Gumbi!!!!!

  • My son will be graduating from here on the 10th of July 09.. I will be there so proud

  • im a grad of 1974....3710 B.M.T.S.....

  • that was my favorite part of bmt...soooo sharp drill...

  • NO INTENSITY... (SAD)

  • the marine motto is semper fidelis you idiot. it means always faithful not semper paratus(always ready)

  • lol you really got him

  • @noob955

yah that would be the coast guard..

  • @noob955 Not sure what it was a reply to, but in case people werent aware, Semper Paratus is for the USCG

  • @noob955 thats true my brother is a Marine, but that meaning or saying is for the USCG, but i get what your saying and some people take it the wrong way

  • ???? semper paratus thats the coast guard

  • Lol semper Paratus.

  • btw it's Lackland AFB in San Antonio Texas... went to a ROTC boot camp there because there is NO Marine bases around here and that is the closest

  • No f'ing way. If this was filmed at the end of december of 2005, then this was my graduation. It ends with flight 093, and I was flight 094. What's funny is I put my MTI package in and will most likely be doing this in san antonio in about 6 mos. What a coincidence I found this!!

  • December 30th, right? I graduated the same day. I was flight 090.

  • "Boom...Booon... Boom, Boom, Boom"

  • we're so sharp

  • they used to graduate in full service dress?

  • Depends on the weather pretty much. When I graduated in May, it was short sleeve.

  • Thank you for the video, rc626...one of my good friends is graduating soon and I just wanted to get an idea of what the ceremony looks like.

I'm actually in the Navy but it's still amazing to see the other branches at work.

  • Thanks for the video. My brother graduates jan 11, 2008. i wont make it there, so thanks!

  • Lol damn! You just missed me by about 30 seconds...

I was in flt 090, and we passed the cam in front of the first flight on this tape.

  • I was in squadron 3707 flight 664

  • Hooah!! Looking sharp! Ah Pass and Review. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to do that. You hear the band in the back ground, yeah that was me five years ago...keeping the cadence. 323rd "House of Pain" or House of Pancakes ha, ha, ha! AIR POWER, SPACE POWER AEF.

  • Dude house of pancakes I haven't heard that in years. I was 322. I miss BMT

  • I was 322nd in 1995. Is it still called Mother Russia? I woul love to get my hands on the patches for the 322nd but I have no idea where to look.

  • My husband graduated from Lackland in September 2006. Ah, memories...

  • AF boot camp is soft. worst part is lack of female contact for 6 weeks. harsh, eh? i don't wonder where the fat asses i work with come from. can't run? overweight? you can get a waiver.

  • wow... the T.I. featured in this video just happens to be my T.I. from BMT... TSgt. Mahone was one incredibly sharp woman...

  • I was there a few years ago in the middle of the winter. It was freezing cold especially when it was windy. They would make us stand at attention outside of the building in the elements for an hour or so at a time. Defanitly a humbling experience.

  • 3707 BMTS, Flt. 147. August, 1983. I travelled 1700 miles for basic and tech school, then got stationed 40 miles from where I enlisted. :)

  • France is gay.

  • Wtf? Where did that come from? Haha...totally random.

  • Actually by the 3rd week in basic, most people get use to the heat and blazing Texas sun. Winter is worse because you only get issued one jacket and it's not that thick even when they loan out liners for those jackets.

  • is texas really cold in the winter or is cold like 65 degrees? I live in michigan where the summer temperature can be around 80 some days, and around 0 degrees in the winter. So, what is really cold?

  • i was there 8 jan 2008 to 22 feb 2008

texas has wierd weather....some days it was in the 30's others 80's

  • I was there in January, cool in the morning, then it warms up in the afternoon. Nothing like michigan

  • texas and June holy shit.. yeah that sucked! signing in for winter baby!

  • Try doing that in June. That sucked!

  • I agree. *shudders* I remember those days. At least we didn't have to do it in full service dress!!! :D
