Hahaha, loved it. Monbiot, the Three Cocks, and the song of course. I'm gonna be nearby on Sunday...who knows? Maybe I can convince the rest of them that a climb on Lord Hereford's Knob would be worth the exertion. ;)
@WhollyMowly i did all that came up was knott street ambleside,is this a reference to the man who went crazy with a gun there, please exploain it to me ,i know you must think i'm f****ing dense

last year i was in the army camp at pennyfyn, preparing a climb of snowdonia. However the weather worsened and it would be impossible to climb at the amateur rate we all were at. The night before we were sceduled ot leave for Snowdonia, we were scanning a map of the area, looking for an area to walk around. When the name "Lord Hereford's Knob" was found, a uninimous desicion was made to have a piss and tea break on the top.
pointless fact: that shot of lord herefords knob mountain is taken from roughly the same spot as where the two americans were dropped off at the start of "american werewolf in london" film: stick to the road lads, steer clear of the moors!
I don't think Prescott is a cock, just a bit of a bell end.

I live on the Wirral and always think of this song when I pass the "Keep Two Chevrons Apart" sign on the M56 near Warrington.

George Monbiot and Coldplay were excellent... if only you'd had Tranmere winning 0-3, though!
