Many of our musicians are music educators with strong desires to pass on this art form. During the winter months we do a monthly free jazz gig at a pizza joint. We moved to this format from playing in bars so we would be more accessible to local youth, and we can now invite young guest soloists to participate. Its been very good for all concerned.
I look at this video so that I can see how the experts construct their solos, very enlightening. :D --jazz test tomorrow

Are you kidding???. Only if the young people want to learn. Remeber, the master can only teach 40%, the other 60% comes from the player.
