This is one of the greatest trekking adventure tours in the world, but one of the more challenging. You must stay out of the workers way or you'll get hit by heavy sulfur rocks. The tour office in Probilingo took care of everything. It's a 2 day/2 night trip. One night at Bromo at Yoschi's guesthouse, 3am hike to view Bromo, depart for hotel near Ijen, 5am departure for Ijen, and then on to Bali. This one is definitely not for sissies, whiners, and the physically challenged. Good exercise.
