English is a derivation and amalgamation of other languages (Latin, Germanic, etc.). The Irish certainly don't speak the exact same language as Americans or English. And vice verse. All the romance languages are very similar but they certainly are not the same. Look at the phrasing and terminology used in some of these comments sometimes. They're of a suspect origin, in my opinion.
