  • wow alll that bhe can say lmao

  • i love the beginning.. its like in a porn video at the beginning with the bad acting.. then straight to business in this case with the phone.. the best part is at the end... " i love my iphone" LOL... but great with showing the features !

  • Best demo I've seen.

  • Nice video! Just out of curiosity, does the "Home" button on the front of the iPhone protrude from the unit or is a flat button.

I have to agree that this is one of the better videos showing off the features of the iPhone. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to get mine!

  • Flat button.

  • This is a better review than the ones at engadget. Good job with the guy always saying the "Woaw" and "amazing"..

Though I don't think funky animations and transitions necessarilly make a user more productive in using a phone or a multimedia player. I wonder if those "Woaw" effects work for more than like 5 minutes of use or if the user doesn't quickly wish there was better features in it.

  • The breakthrough is the ability to search the web. Just today I was hiking to clear my head, I created a to-do list for next week. It allowed me to see a VIN report before I bought a car. It helped me see if an approaching storm was going to ruin 07/04 fireworks. I was able see if a bookstore was open before I drove there. It settled a bet since I was able to find the answer on Wikipedia, and more!

  • There are already some neat Web 2.0 sites out there. Examples: The to-do list I made was thru tadalist. AccuWeather has a cool weather widget. There's an web-ap that allows docs to read patients med records remotely & another ap that allows remote access to files on your home/office PC.

However I admit there are about a dozen features I wish it had. Most will be added on with software/firmware updates but some will require a new iPhone. Rumor has it that iPhone 2.0 will premiere in Jan. 08!

  • I haven't yet tried the actual iPhone so I wouldn't know for sure. But I think the screen is too small and the resolution too low for browsing to be totally good. EDGE is better than nothing, but it's really slow isn't it. I expect people quickly get tired of how slow EDGE is. And it seems the iPhone is not powerfull enough for Javascripts and Flash so that leaves out quite a bit of Web 2.0 functionality which other devices have.

  • Screen is 480-by-320-pixel resolution but it is at 160 dpi instead of the standard. Oh course, faster is better. Here in Central PA, we don't have 3G so EDGE is as fast as we can get. I think AT&T has been tinkering with its towers. Near the urban areas, it isn't half bad at all but some places it is very slow. For some reason Steve Jobs hates JAVA and i don't know why. There are some useful things out there that run on JAVA. Rumor has it that Flash will come in future editions.

  • Apple has billions of dollars available to their R&D so they should be able to do better than this in my opinion. But especially it seems Apple is more interested in making a lot of money with locking people on old technology and the big telcos wouldn't be interested in usefull things like VOIP, download of video and music over wireless broadband, such that it seems Apple does not want to implement.

  • I can't disagree. There are still so many things that the iPhone should have. I hope that they do take the time to listen to the public and not drooling over their stock price.

  • Archos and Nokia N800 screens are 4.3" and at 800x480 resolution. At that resolution and screen size you get instant readabillity on all websites for an about 15 grams heavier product than the iPhone. On the iPhone as I understand it you have to zoom in on most websites, even with the multi-touch technology that doesn't make it very user-friendly to actually browse.. at least not compared to a 4.3" 800x480 touch-screen.
