It seems to me like the Japanese "Cool Guy" is the one who is easy-going to the point of being lazy because he's SO good that he doesn't even need to try. That just so happens to be the type of person whose failure I enjoy watching the most. The REAL cool guys are the underdogs who refuse to give up and rely on what they have instead of deus ex machina. Don't you agree?

No i don't agree at all. Characters like naruto the little engine that believes it piss me off beyond all belief. I love the way dante walks up to the gun and picks up the pizza instead, The way Alucard just stands there till hes a gooey mess then regenerates and kicks ass, the way Vash sits at his barstool till the whole building is gone save where hes at, and i might as well throw in vincent Because coincidentally they all wear red, wield guns and arnt human (completely) .

It seems to me like most people who try to categorize YouTube Poop apparently think that it can only be Poop if remains UNORIGINAL in that it relies mostly if not only on pop-culture referencing and use of materials from other, more commonly used sources as it's primary source of humor.

I've seen a lot of YouTube Poop, and what I've learned is that some of the best work simply parody themselves, as opposed to everything else.
