I am currently reading 'Labirynth' by Kate Mosse , which is set in Carcasonne.. I am absoloutely committed to visiting the city! It looks so rich in history and very beautiful. Please read the book and you'll want to go there too!!!

For centuries this magnificent Citadel was kept my the immortal spirit of its eternal Master, viscount Trencavel. Sights of Carcassonne and music from "The Lord of the Rings" are very well combined with each other.

j'habite Carcassonne et il faut dire que la cité est sans cesse différente : celon l'éclairage, l'époque de l'année, l'heure !
dommage que Violet Leduc l'ai si mal restaurée !

I visited the city- désolé "la cité" in summertime and have to say the place was stunning!
