  • wow, awesome king of red lions model!

  • can you do this kinda stuff with normal paper? or is it a kind of card paper youd have to buy at a hobbystore?

  • The mountain fold is shown by a dash-dot line not continuous dash =)

  • @arthasbr I guess it could vary with model builders, but every single papercraft that I have done was _ . _. _ . _ is valley fold

    _ _ _ _ _ _ is mountain fold.

  • @TheKenTama yeah u right what I said at least is valid for origami ;-)

  • Nice choice of glue it never wrinkles any kind of paper =]

  • @patrick60495

I actually need to update this video. While zip dry glue is good...I have now found that Aleene's tacky glue is better.

  • @TheKenTama NO NO NO NO tacky glue ruins my 20 lb paper plane models from masterpaperaircrafts.

  • @patrick60495 Ive honestly never had a problem with tacky glue. How did it ruin your models?

  • @TheKenTama UHH bro i said i used 20 lb paper, and it wrinkles the tabs and wrinkles the part attached to the tabs

  • hmm i see, lol i was usin regular computer paper bein new to this, didnt know to use cardstock but now i know. at first i was like "wow, really? all that just for a nicely drawn wave" then when u brought out the real deal, lol u made me think twice. Definitely beast what u have there

  • hey i built a star wars tie fighter and sandcrawler and the suck lol so could you make one of those in a tutorial? ill give you the link and everything

  • with the ruler, you should say "metal ruler", it doesn't cut with the knife

  • i have no idea what the heck this is but it looks awesome but a pain in the rear to make

  • Instead of a bone folder, I use the back of the head of a butter knife.

  • hey, awsome zelda craft, i just finished making a mask of truth :D its pritty small and abit dodgy but it was my first paper craft project :D also i just used normal printing paper, and then covered it in sello tape, it kinda gives it a plasticy finish :D nice tutorial btw, thanks bud :D

  • dude awesome

im attempting the zora set will u tell me how to use that glue on somthing so small

  • well. if u have a bottle with the nozzle at the end for it to come out of, just squeeze some so there is a beed of blue at the end of the nozzle and then just dab it on the tab were u want it, if the table is long, just put 3 beeds of glue on it and then spred it out using the nozzle of the tube of glue

  • You have some good tips there, and that is one great King of Red Lions+sea base!

  • Thanks, and I really enjoy making your crafts!

  • when buying 250 gsm paper, do i want glossy photo paper, or printer paper?

    or

i cant find the appropriate card stock on the internet, can you please help / give me a link?

  • Interesting stuff =|!

I actually want to start on this papercraft hobby but i'm pretty confused as to which paper to use.

A lot of people say 135kg kent paper is best. A4 is good too. But you say cardstock paper

Whats the difference between these paper?

  • There are two different things that you are talking about here.

    1. The WEIGHT OR THICKNESS of the paper. A very good papercrafter says to use. 66# or 250gsm paper. I just use the cardstock paper that you can buy at Wal-Mart. Not sure of the weight. Ill look the next time I go.

    2. Paper size. A4 is the SIZE of the sheet and it is usually used in other parts of the world (Not North America). I always print on 8 1/2 X 11 (normal USA printing paper)

  • is this very hard to make for you?

  • so if i want to make a paper craft, i have to glue the printed pic on the cardstock paper? am i right if not can you plz tell me.

  • No, you dont have to do that. Just load the cardstock into you printer and print it out on the cardstock.

  • i downloaded it and i could print it but i get lots and lots of spams i couldn't use that computer anymore :(

  • I have never gotten a virus from any of those sites, and I use them all the time. You went to the sites in the description, right?

  • Hmmm. I guess try Kinkos??? Or try and use a buddies printer.

  • I just saw this on the HP Laser Jet that I was using today. There is a cardstock setting. Maybe if yours has that it would not jam up.

  • I really want to try this, but my printer jams with the card stock..

  • Thanks for this tutorial it was really helpful.
