hmm i see, lol i was usin regular computer paper bein new to this, didnt know to use cardstock but now i know. at first i was like "wow, really? all that just for a nicely drawn wave" then when u brought out the real deal, lol u made me think twice. Definitely beast what u have there

hey, awsome zelda craft, i just finished making a mask of truth :D its pritty small and abit dodgy but it was my first paper craft project :D also i just used normal printing paper, and then covered it in sello tape, it kinda gives it a plasticy finish :D nice tutorial btw, thanks bud :D
well. if u have a bottle with the nozzle at the end for it to come out of, just squeeze some so there is a beed of blue at the end of the nozzle and then just dab it on the tab were u want it, if the table is long, just put 3 beeds of glue on it and then spred it out using the nozzle of the tube of glue
There are two different things that you are talking about here.
1. The WEIGHT OR THICKNESS of the paper. A very good papercrafter says to use. 66# or 250gsm paper. I just use the cardstock paper that you can buy at Wal-Mart. Not sure of the weight. Ill look the next time I go.
2. Paper size. A4 is the SIZE of the sheet and it is usually used in other parts of the world (Not North America). I always print on 8 1/2 X 11 (normal USA printing paper)
wow, awesome king of red lions model!

can you do this kinda stuff with normal paper? or is it a kind of card paper youd have to buy at a hobbystore?

The mountain fold is shown by a dash-dot line not continuous dash =)
arthasbr 11 months ago
@arthasbr I guess it could vary with model builders, but every single papercraft that I have done was _ . _. _ . _ is valley fold
_ _ _ _ _ _ is mountain fold.

@patrick60495
I actually need to update this video. While zip dry glue is good...I have now found that Aleene's tacky glue is better.
TheKenTama 1 year ago
@TheKenTama NO NO NO NO tacky glue ruins my 20 lb paper plane models from masterpaperaircrafts.
patrick60495 1 year ago
@patrick60495 Ive honestly never had a problem with tacky glue. How did it ruin your models?
TheKenTama 1 year ago
@TheKenTama UHH bro i said i used 20 lb paper, and it wrinkles the tabs and wrinkles the part attached to the tabs

Instead of a bone folder, I use the back of the head of a butter knife.

Interesting stuff =|!
I actually want to start on this papercraft hobby but i'm pretty confused as to which paper to use.
A lot of people say 135kg kent paper is best. A4 is good too. But you say cardstock paper
Whats the difference between these paper?

19Billy96 2 years ago
No, you dont have to do that. Just load the cardstock into you printer and print it out on the cardstock.

I have never gotten a virus from any of those sites, and I use them all the time. You went to the sites in the description, right?
TheKenTama 2 years ago
Hmmm. I guess try Kinkos??? Or try and use a buddies printer.

I just saw this on the HP Laser Jet that I was using today. There is a cardstock setting. Maybe if yours has that it would not jam up.
TheKenTama 2 years ago
I really want to try this, but my printer jams with the card stock..
