Do you know what muffler does he use on that Testarossa? Although I'm a owner of Testarossa and I've heard many sounds of Testarossa, the sound is the best ever.

1957 250 Testa Rossa, yes those are great Testarossa's. (one was sold for $16,400,000 in 2011)

Last time I checked the Testarossa is one of the least liked Ferrari's among Ferrari enthusiasts. It's basically a modified Berlinetta Boxer, but unlike the stylish BB, the Testarossa had tacky 80's looks.

The drivers prefer the 308/328 series, and the F355 was infinitely superior in every way.

Save for the lovely engine note, there's nothing speaking for the 512TR

Aside from the fact that none of the Ferrari Formula 1 drivers liked the Testarossa or even owned one (Jean Alesi openly said it was much too twitchy) the major flaws of it was it's high centre of gravity. This means bad handling. The problem was that they had to raise the flat 12 so high up in order to fit the gearbox beneath it (it would have been too long otherwise) that the centre of gravity suffered.

Ferrari adressed this mistake for the 550 successor.

Well, they used cheap Fiat switches, wiper columns, electronics and interior plastics. Don't believe me? Well, if you spent the same amount of time reading road tests from all over the world, comtemporary magazines, books and owner gripes as you do playing supercar paparazzi you'd know that.

You wouldn't state a very subjective opinion like "Testarossa's are just great!" and expect to be taken seriously.

I drove a '91 Diablo (wasn't mine) and was unimpressed with the driveability. I had to jerk it into gear, never mind the horrendous steering, or lack of power steering. I hear the Testarossa is "tolerable" compared to the Diablo. I'll see when the clutch is fixed on the '86, but I'm not optimistic. Great video. Sounds amazing with the exhaust.

the footage here was outstanding, and probably the closest I'll ever get to experience a ride-along. Cheers to the owner for being so kind as to sharing his joy with the rest of the world! I'm sure you must've felt privileged to ride in such a fantastic machine while in action...I envy you.
