I LOVE her singing, by the way, and don't mean what I said as a negative criticism. Breakout was the big hit and I was still very young at the time but everyone was wowed by how beautiful she was, as well as the song. Afterwards I looked out for SOS and I thought "Twilight World" was even better - but not many people seemed to take much notice. I still can't understand it today. Lovely, smooth music.

It is a mystery, the fact that this group does not get the recognition they deserve. It has to do with the fact that there simply are not many people with good taste anymore, Most just don't know how to appreciate good music (and no wonder, look at the junk they are exposed to)

Probably my favourite song by SOS. I loved the first album. Was she less confident live - in front of big audiences ? It's a shame because she was the best looking girl of the decade in pop music.

This video starts out north of Holtville Ca. at Perry's Corner a small country store. I was working in the store at the time and served them fresh melon which believe it or not the had not experienced before. They where super nice in person. She was one class act.

Very cool! I just learned about this video about an hour ago. I have a few videos on my own YouTube page of the waterfront location seen in this video - it's the North Shore Yacht Club at the Salton Sea in southern California.

The building has been abandoned for many years and is in a state of disrepair. Fortunately, however, a renovation effort has begun and should be complete by the end of 2009. (continued)

The old asbestos ceiling panels, drywall, and flooring were removed by a demolition crew. Once all the renovation work is done, this building will become a community center, visitor center, and museum.

I've always wanted to go to the Salton Sea and this just gives me more of a reason. Does anyone know where the video for "Forever Blue" was filmed.

I just went there a few weeks ago. It's at the northern tiip on the east side of the Sea. Coming south, The Yacht Club is right on the right hand side of the main road about 5 miles south of a big date farm and store. It's all abandoned and much more delapitated than in the video, but it's being restored as a historic landmark. You can see a video Solton Sea Yacht Club in it's hey day on Youtube

Recently the North Shore Yacht Club will undergoing restoration into a musuem.

As it is one of the archtiect's few remaining works of historical value.

So with a little luck it will soon be a place to visit once again.

Nice for me to know it will still be there for my family to go there.

Like I did with my grandparents and my parents.

This place is now abandoned and forgotten and vandalized.

It is sad to see a place so beautiful become a sad and lonely relic rotting away.

When it used to be a beautiful place full of life and people enjoying it.

Many of the places I used to go with my grandpa are now demolished.

This place is soon to be one of them.

But thanks to this video it lives on bright and cheery and like I remember it.

The place is now boarded up and has been the target of arsonists in the past.

Just a matter of time till it is gone by the foolishness of some creep.

Remember if you visit here goes as a group just to be safe.
