  • THANK YOU SIR!

  • Should you buy the strip pre-soldered or not??

  • @tartlime i'd go with pre-solder... unless you know how to... or just enjoy soldering...

  • @IRsuperman Thanks! One end or both ends?

  • Where do you get that led light strip with the red blu and green rgb chords?

  • Can you please link the exact LED strip you purchased?

  • @Kodac00 go to autozone or autozone advanced

  • If I put more LEDs on my shoes, do i need to add more switches and batteries?

  • Suhweeet shoes

  • Copper balls...

  • leave a Glow where ever you go! haha pure

  • do you know how to make it pressure activated like evrytime you take a step it turns on then when you lift your foot up it turns off??

  • Hello man, could you send me where I can buy these copper balls

  • should use the small 12 volt battery. energizer 23A or duracell nm21/23 they are used in home security systems. there about inch and half long and same size as a triple A battery on the round. should be able to hide it quiet easly

  • say i didnt want a spade connecter could i just pull out the battery when im not using it?

  • @themegabutterfish ...or install a small switch (very cheap from radioshack)

  • where can i buy these LED strips?

  • @Terenceslover Err... and copper balls...?

  • How long does the battery last?

  • Where do I connect the two power cables to?

  • is that shoes waterproof...? but my led shoes r waterproof lol...:)))

  • Where do you get these LED lights?

  • Where do u get these LED lights?

  • the 2 dislikes are from the led show company

  • So that's why there are 3 small holes on the inner side of my shoes...

  • I'm wondering if you could power them off a much smaller, flat 'coin style' battery instead of having this big, honking 9volt stuck in your laces. Wondering where to get the LEDs as well...

  • @harleycoder I'm sure there is. I was just doing something quick for halloween, so I didn't dig much deeper.

Anything that puts out 9-12 Volts with 2-3 Amps would work. I'm sure there are some high output, small package solutions that could nest inside the tongue of the shoe... of course, anything you demand performance from will always have a higher price tag.

  • @harleycoder 3 3v button cell batteries will work

  • @harleycoder Get them at advanced auto parts

  • @harleycoder Get them at an advanced auto parts store

  • it so ugly and nasty. there must be the way, that it looks nicer.

  • where did u buy the led's?

  • can i kinda put the battery inside the shoe? so i dont hawe to hawe a battery bulge there

  • So how does one make them stay on permanently or by step, any other method than the copper balls? It seems quite random, also if the LED's would be only "Cool white" colored like in the video that sent us here.

  • @MKahara2 They are supposed to be activated by step, that's what the copper balls tilt switch is for. You move your foot enough for the balls to bridge the connection and let there be light. If you want them to be on constantly, all you have to do is solder the wires from the LED strip to those from the battery source, instead of using a tilt switch.

And the site he linked to has different color LED strips including cool white. Just buy those instead.

  • thanks man this is awsome. thank you

  • Just one thing... THANK YOU!!!

  • Can i find copper balls in hardware shops ? or can i just use copper wire and remove its skin cut the mettalic thingy into very little pieces and put it in the ballpen cap will that work????????

  • @andrecarl18 Try it and find out. Whatever you use just has to be conductive and able to move back and forth in the cap or whatever you choose to use to bridge and unbridge (connect and disconnect) the connection between the battery and the LEDs.

  • good job imma try this

  • Awesome tutorial, thank you. Can't wait to try it!

  • Strike my where to buy question, just found your link. thanks

  • Nice work IRsuperman. Question, Where were you able to get the LED light strip from?

  • @MontrealNathaniel There is a link in the description

  • Question for you , how do you make the whole sole light up???

  • @ItalianDude000 get a longer LED or two of the same

  • @zenlives2sk8 sup zen new youtube XD

  • Thisss dude is a geniusss!

  • Were u get the light strips from

  • Just a question, what wires did u put into the pen cap? and how did u connect to the battery?

  • Really useful and educational. Thanks!

  • holy shit man ur genius! lol

  • Woahhh What Theee...I wanna make one...

  • You can just buy these guys at a shoe store. They are kid shoes

  • Where do you get the wires?

  • @HoldenSouthardsTv most companies that you can order the LED strips from will have the wire already soldered onto the LED strip. If you were referring to the wires for the battery - RadioShack or Fry's, etc...

  • @IRsuperman hey can i get longer strips, like ones that go all the way around the shoe?

  • @Chuckster1414 you can get them in almost any length

  • @IRsuperman thanks and one more question, did you get the wide or thin ones?

  • @Chuckster1414 I think I got the thin ones... or standard size. They are about .45" wide. Not sure about the wider ones... all depends on how thick the shoe sole is...

  • ur smart

  • ok so about to make mine own of these im getting the buy by foot oppition on the led and im get there wires solder on both ends does that come with ground or not

  • @MegaLacrosseKing you only need the wires soldered onto one end - everything comes on the circuit included internal to the LED strips. All you need extra are the battery with connection and the tilt switch which you can make 10 different ways.

  • i will subscribe because this is awesome and you could also you bb gun little pebbels same color and size

  • where do you recommend i get the LED lights??

  • @sagm117033 sure thing - I just updated the description with all the info you'll need. Hope that helps!

  • @IRsuperman Thank you!
