  • They are from inner mongol, whatever and wherever you want them belong to..you ask them they will say they are chinese, my mon is Yao ethinic, my dad is Zhuang, i am zhuang, but we are chinese, this is china, we have 56 ethinic, each of ethinic has their own culture even language.this music is mongolian style, but made by inner mongolian-chinese.if outter mongolian made this, chinese will never claim it is chinese music.

too much hate going round for me, i dont care about the history of things and how you hate china or who hates mongolia. in this era EVERYTHING is hated by someone. the internet brings the worst in everyone.

anyway this is a wesome vid. they r so cool:D i want to learn the morin huur! does it sound similar to a cello?

  • @SangoKikOme Soooooooooo sad, but true... everything IS hated by someone... Yet is also true, that's such a fine, fine piece to dreams along...

  • @srm13560

thanks for agreeing :) and not ranting at me or swearing, made my day!

  • Morin huur is Mongolian right !!! it's NOT belong chinese !!!

  • @baagii52

And chinese do not claim it. They are all ethinic mongols

  • are they from inner mongolia

  • this is the best music ive ever heard

  • epic music

  • Special for those who love the horses !:D

    respect from Romania!

  • It's quite hard to learn without a teacher. If you play Erhu, Sarangi, Cretan Lyra or Gadulka, you'll have an easier time of it. One of the best Morin Khuur players in the world (Li Bo) was an artist in residence at the University of Washington here in Seattle for a while, and I got to study with him for about 6 months. It helped a lot.

  • Where to get the boots they are wearing?

  • 太好听了

  • What is the instrument called? And is it hard to learn?

  • @kich88 its called Morin Khuur or Horse-head Fiddle.

  • They want , they exercised, they stolen... but still cant make real nomadic spritual sound...never !!!

  • it would be cool if Qi Baoligao or some one else could compose Galloping camels.

  • @JaviDeAce

that's sort of a hard question to answer

  • @JaviDeAce They are from inner mongolia which means that they are mogolian ethics in China. This can be found from the Chinese character at the beginning of the video

  • why is one of them wearing a suit? Someone special? 0:50 was especially nice~

  • His name is Chi Bulico (齐宝力高), a famous Morin Khuur player.

He is the composer of this music piece.

He is also teaching Morin Khuur, players dressed in white are students of him.

  • ok thanks.. sry for being ignorant..

  • @kwwkwwkww Does this song have anything to do with Genghis Khans Cavalry charges?

  • so good!

  • khuur and erhu what relation ?

  • This musicians are from inner mongolia, that instrument is traditional mongolian fiddle, but that music they just played up there is nothing like mongolian. Inner Mongolia was taken by Manchurians over 400 years ago and still a part of China, and unfortunality they are greatly influenced by Chinese culture, tradition and lifestyle. Feel sorry for them

  • @babamangaa, fortunatly, inner Monglian are the real Mongols, the elites are all there, so they still keep their traditional characters, while the Outer Mongols are uneducated bunch, they were originally slaves of the real mongols, so they were "liberated" by the Russian and influenced by Russians, they are using Russian alphabets.

  • @sunmoonstargood

You seem to have missed a great deal of history. Outer Mongolia was not comprised of slaves of "real" Mongols. All of the Mongols had been conquered by the Manchu long after the Mongols no longer controlled China. The modified Cyrillic script (not quite the same as Russia's) was introduced after the educated in Mongolia, that is Buddhist priests, were killed.

  • 很好啊我爱!

  • 真还有点万马奔腾的阵势!

  • I love mongolian music. I wish i cud visit this beautiful country soon.

  • but 2 problems!! those ppl are chinese r inermongolian. second those "morin huur" r made in factories!! it should be mongolians.and mongolians dont play it a group .and the song sounds like modorn music. in mongolia ppl make morin huur with there own hands! and they poor there souls in it and skilled player make beautiful and sweet sound.unlike those ppl!!!

  • pianos, violins used to be all hand made, but many of them are made by machine these days. so it's all right modern day mongolians also make their musical instruments using machines.

  • lavinia888, you have great taste if you don't mind me saying. I totally agree with you!

    "Absolute Perfection"

  • I love this so much, I can't get enough of it...

I have two words - "Absolute Perfection"

    :)

  • I love Mongolian music instruments!

  • CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I LOVE THIS!

  • kool!
