We just went to the Humane Society's "Bark in the Bark" fundraiser. I introduced my three to three Collies. I just told them that they were really, really tall Shelties. What great breeds they are.

Awwwww...this reminds me of my beloved Rough Collie "Donovan" who lived to the grand old age of 15! He loved munching Cod Liver Oil capsules which helped his joints remain supple until the end....I miss him so much :-(

Our Sheltie is 11 years old and still looks like a puppy. they are wonderful dogs and very smart we love this guy a lot. Enjoyed your video of Sugar.

There is nothing like a sheltie ... I would never get another breed. Their level of understanding is a constant wonder ... everyday. So good-natured and smart. Great video.

We lucked out, I think. We only have one, Petunia, who can get carried away. Sugar looks at her like she's mad as a hatter. Probably one key to a quiter Sheltie is plenty of exercise. They're basically working dogs who are easily bored.

These little ones are the best! We're on our 4th one now and she's 4 years old. I still remember as a kid in the late 60's our first one. We had Missy, then Millie, then Maggie and now we left the M's and chose Sophie for our 4th. They are one class act. Placid, intelligent, all about routine, big sucks and full of love. (and hair! haha and barking! haha but that's ok). Thanks for the video - real nice captions!

Thanks to everyone for their comments about Sugar. Although she can be exasperating with her demands and regalness, she is exquisitely well-behaved and too clever by half. She routinely outwits my other two Shelties and us!

I love your names. My twin had a Maltese Tootsie. I had one named Teddy Bear but here's nothing like our elegant Shelties, is there? We lost our Angel at only 5yrs. Have a look at our new little girl, Petunia.
