I'm including a 2nd reservior just for this new 2nd bubbler/relief valve setup. The 2nd reservior will have an automatic shut off float/water level switch connected to my cell. Each time that relief valve opens you're losing some water/steam from the 2nd bubbler. If the 2nd bubbler drys up due to numerous hits then KABOOM because there's no water left in it to cushion the explosion or block the flame from hitting the 1st bubbler/reservior and drying it up too. Then the cell is left unprotected !
Thats one strong supply of hydroxy... High quality of gas too... and of course, good presentation of your relief valve in action. Isn't that a blow up valve on top or a pressure relief valve?...
Experience really brings out the best in us... specially when it involves your wifes car.. :-D
Really Cool Man !!! Did I see the water level droping a little after each hit ? If so, time to get that bubbler hooked up fast. I know how you like to blow up stuff but please don't take it out on yourself. HA !!!
Also, you've got about 20 minutes left to view my earlier youtube emails before you'll miss out on a really great KOH filter deal. Unles of course your new non-caustic non-corrosive electrolyte has worked out in testing.
Yea, I guess it is. Feels pretty good having coined the term huh. I guess I could call it erv explosion relief valve. But Oh well same principle. You started a trend my friend...
Call it whatever you want, EPD, SRV, ERV, just as long as it keeps people safe. I was referring to me having 3 videos with that title. I got a little chuckle out of that :)
I figured you did, I laughed a little too. For me personally I like RPPD Redneck Personal Protection Device but figure that wouldn,t be a good overall name...... :) So EPD or SRV it is
No leaks as of yet. This unit only has about 50 or so hits on it. So far so Good. The cell testing is taking up most of my time. But the flashback is doing very well. thx
good

I like your secondary bubbler design with the EPD on it. Can I get the plans to make that one? Or will you be selling it?

a video for plans is being made this week and we will be selling at our website. Thanks for the comment.

You need to fit a piston that inject a measured amount of water each time the explosion pushes up on the release valve so the bubler never runs dry.

Great work with your testing. With this post only being on for three hours, Youtube is telling me this video is no longer available, what gives?

Oh yea you may be refering to the torch flare up as the leak. No the torch ran out of butane and thats why it flared up. :)
