I tell what has been revealed to me for those with an open mind and a seeking heart like I had when my eyes were opened. It's easy to tell the sheep from the goats when they start trying to argue. The Catholic church has only been hammering out their deification of Mary for a lttle less than 200 years. Up until that time she was pretty much ignored. As I'm sure you know, the church reinvents itself every once in a while and every time it has, the truth becomes more and more apparent.As to me coming back to the Cath. church, why would I come back to an apostacy? Many stories are indeed typologies of future events, Ruth and Boaz, Abraham and Isaac, Joshua and Jericho to name but some but to build a case that the blessed Mary has been elevated to a rank that is almost equal to Christ if not God himself based solely on a suggested typology and no direct scriptual references is stretching credulety to beyond it`s limits. I guess I didn't make clear that I grew up in the Catholic dhurch. I went to Caholic school and all my family were Catholics. I'm an old woman and I'm just so blown away by what is happening to the church. It's become a haven for evil. This teaching that Mary is as important and in some teachings is more so breaks my heart. Jesus was all back then and Mary was honored on May 1. That Mary belongs on the alter is a sacriledge. Only our precious Lord Jesus died for our sins. I'll continue above.

Since that time, I have seen so many other things that made me aware that there was a movement to replace Jesus wiith Mary. There is a pseudo spiritual movement called the Divine Feminine that is the New Age Movement's religion with Mary at it's center. When I saw Jim's book advertised I was so happy to find that there are others as aware of all this as I am. Now, it seems every where I turn I see more evidence of it. at Glauchester, MA. Our hostess took us on a tour of the area which included the Catholic church that was used in the movie. As I walked around it just didn't seem right but suddenly it hit me. Instead of a cross on the alter there was a huge statue of Mary and there were no crosses displayed in the church. After seeing the movie, I found that the local fishermen have a celebration where the statue is taken from the church and carried on their shoulders to the boats where they are "blessed".
Reading Jim's book pulled a lot of things I'd been seeing together. I grew up as a Catholic and learned all the things it teaches. I learned to make an alter in my bedroom and to dedicate it to Mary, queen of May.This was to be done especially on May 1st. I absolutely did learn to worship statues of Mary and had one in my bedrrom at home, as a child. Fast forward to the lat 1990s when I was a guest for a wedding in Cambridge, MA. Bottom line, no where in scripture is there a hint of mary being a mediator or meditrix, this is an invention of men who choose to ignore clear scripture thus being lead astray. The big problem is when what a pope says conflicts with what the bible says they listen to the pope and disreguard the bible. @MrJhb211. we don't need Mary to go to Jesus for us. Jesus hears our prayers. The bible says in Deut18 that we are not to call on spirits of those who have passed on. No where in the bible does it say that Mary takes our prayers to Jesus. Jesus left us the Holy Spirit to guide us to Jesus, to help us to keep our faith and trust in Jesus, Mary doesn't do that. She interceded only once when she gave birth to our Savior and hers too, but she does not take our prayers to Jesus.

Where does it say in any scripture that there is another mediator beyond Jesus? Where does scripture demonstrate Jesus praying to any other than God? Mary can't give birth to God, and there is no hint of such a thing in the bible. If she was Queen of Heaven the bible would say Blessed ABOVE ALL! It don't!

If she gave birth to God she would be infinite and God would not. Don't confuse who Mary was, Mary was a sinner, she was married and had children to say otherwise goes far beyond scripture. @211jhb Are you talking about 1Kings 2: 13-22, or Psalms 45:9? Psalms is clearly a wedding song. Kings speaks about a request to Solomons mother, but the request is denied and solomon puts Adonijah to death. So if this represents some foreshadow of mary then the whole idea that the king listens to the mother is lost. Psalms 45 is clearly a wedding song and it would refer to the bride of the king, that would be the church in that context, no way to miss that.

I guess I didn't make clear that I grew up in the Catholic dhurch. I went to Caholic school and all my family were Catholics. I'm an old woman and I'm just so blown away by what is happening to the church. It's become a haven for evil. This teaching that Mary is as important and in some teachings is more so breaks my heart. Since that time, I have seen so many other things that made me aware that there was a movement to replace Jesus wiith Mary. There is a pseudo spiritual movement called the Divine Feminine that is the New Age Movement's religion with Mary at it's center. When I saw Jim's book advertised I was so happy to find that there are others as aware of all this as I am. Now, it seems every where I turn I see more evidence of it. at Glauchester, MA. Our hostess took us on a tour of the area which included the Catholic church that was used in the movie. As I walked around it just didn't seem right but suddenly it hit me. Instead of a cross on the alter there was a huge statue of Mary and there were no crosses displayed in the church. After seeing the movie, I found that the local fishermen have a celebration where the statue is taken from the church and carried on their shoulders to the boats where they are "blessed".

@MrJhb211. we don't need Mary to go to Jesus for us. Jesus hears our prayers. The bible says in Deut18 that we are not to call on spirits of those who have passed on. No where in the bible does it say that Mary takes our prayers to Jesus. Jesus left us the Holy Spirit to guide us to Jesus, to help us to keep our faith and trust in Jesus, Mary doesn't do that. She interceded only once when she gave birth to our Savior and hers too, but she does not take our prayers to Jesus.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, died for our sins to pay the price, was resurrected and now sits at Gods right hand, I believe in the resurrection of the body when Jesus returns, and I live my life following His commands for salvation. @211jhb You are confusing an earthly mother with a spiritual mother. Like we have earthly fathers and we have a spiritual Father. Their is no teaching biblically that shows a Queen in Heaven. The church is clearly the bride of Christ, and this is spiritual. The only time we see a Queen of Heaven in the bible is not a good reference. Mary can't give birth to God, and there is no hint of such a thing in the bible. If she was Queen of Heaven the bible would say Blessed ABOVE ALL! It don't!

If she gave birth to God she would be infinite and God would not. Don't confuse who Mary was, Mary was a sinner, she was married and had children to say otherwise goes far beyond scripture. @211jhb Are you talking about 1Kings 2: 13-22, or Psalms 45:9? Psalms is clearly a wedding song. Kings speaks about a request to Solomons mother, but the request is denied and solomon puts Adonijah to death. So if this represents some foreshadow of mary then the whole idea that the king listens to the mother is lost. Psalms 45 is clearly a wedding song and it would refer to the bride of the king, that would be the church in that context, no way to miss that.

If you apply this psalm to Jesus, the bride would clearly be the church, who is quite clearly the bride of Christ. @mbaren58 - No, most evangelicals do not agree the woman in Gen is Mary. Eve means "living one" or "source of life"- the mother of mankind if you will. Jesus refers to Himself as "the Son of Man". And yes it does clearly speak to the virgin birth. In Rev. the woman is described as being persecuted, and fleeing for 3 1/2 yrs which is also in Daniel's prophesy refering to Israel. Luke 1:42 a woman attempts to venerate Jesus' mother and was corrected.

Why would catholics worry about Mary anyway? Just give your priest a few thousand bucks and buy your way into heaven. Hey u Protestant solo scriptura King james Bible thumpers. Do u know u say jesus Lies? How do I say this "Peter you are the rock and upon this rock I will build my church" Peter was first pope 2000 years ago, yet u go off a bible 1300 years after Jesus said that!!! Yeah Jesus would lay his rock and leave them rudderless.. Boy you really think much of Jesus's ability now dont you? WAKE UP! You fail on so many fronts. Marian apparition and prophecy, approvd by the church, does not undermine God

How ironic is that? you ever consider that fact? misquoting a book that is at odds with the RCC? Colossians alone ,there is more scripture,alone is devestating to the Popes claims about salvation. You read the Bible? I dare you to read Romans,Galatians,Colossians,Ephesians and come away with working for your salvation.

The mother in scirture is NO "Mary" of the Tenakh. Blasphemy? and you try to bring into a monthestic religion and usurpe it with pagan dieties. My people had many times went inot apostasy because of this so what your "Mary" is has everythng to do with Jeremiah 7 and 44 and nothing more.Question where did you get your training? answer me that.

@mbaren58 Psalms refers to the Messiah and his flock, againg ther is NO OT passage that even remotely has anything to do with theMary of the RCC. You have an abysmall understanding of Jewish poetry and prose. I never called G-d a liar unlike your church that makes claims of it's pope in the face of scripture(Col.2:10) for example. The The true Church would ever commit genocide like the RCC has.Jeremiah(7:1-34; 44:17-25) describes your false Mary have you read that?

@mbaren58 ...and further more Jeremiah 7:17-34 is also judgment on Judah for bruing offerings and incense to The Queen of Heaven(Jeremiah 44:17-25)Wow you admit this is the Mary of Catholicism. Any wonder why Rev 13 & 17 is attributed to the Roman Church? what she is called Babylon,wears purple and gold, jewels,what she holds cup on and on it goes. Reads like a resume of the RCC.
