  • I got a video upload on youtube of that same thig but with out fading colors or funny sounds look in my vids

  • 0:48 LMAO! the sound effects!

  • Bad quality. It has too much static and the picture oddly changes from colour to black and white. What did you record this on in 1984?

  • In 2009, Apple is still leading the way!

  • at 1:30 when it made the screech noise it scared the crap out of me

  • lol the first time i heard that sound i was totally shocked!

  • me too

  • There's a much better version of this promo video here on YT, without the video glitches.

  • I think that my favorite part of this is the lame remake of the Flashdance theme song! lol! Very cool... I remember using some of those computers! Wow, I just dated myself

  • Would these units work WITHOUT leg warmers?

  • Wow! I remember this ad!

I was in it--look for the handsome guy in a business suit carrying a Lisa computer at 2:49.

The photographer took about 100 stills that day, then used just a half-dozen, and of my backside, no less. Sigh...

I was in Corporate Accounts in SoCal, calling on the Fortune 1000 corporations. Boy, trying to get them to switch from IBM was like pulling teeth.

But I loved the Lisa, a very advanced OS that would seem familiar to anyone today, 25 years later...

  • so that was you by the AT&T van, Awsome!

  • Was the tape broken or what? The video is falling away from time to time...

  • this is '84 of course its worn out

  • Cool video.

    I never saw it.

And after 23 years Apple is still at the top for technology and innovation.

Well... The Apple III was not a big success :D

  • 00:48 :P

  • lol

  • The 80`s, one of the best times for Apple!

  • dosman has a good question...please anser him

  • Sorry.... Hypercard is a discontinued software development/enhancement kit.

  • I remember hypercard. It was on the old Performas.
