This man has n ever been to a Canadian born again christian funeral or he would say something different, our families funerals go on for 3 hours of singing gospel songs and talking about things that were funny that the deciesed person did or said, we praise the Lord and it is amazing to see how church of God funerals at least in our community are done. we plan our own funerals if we have the chance, we pick our favorite songs. We are german and we know how to send someone off, praise the Lord.

@animeobsessed777 I am not black but when I was in church went to a UPC church. It was nice because it was not a white church or a black church it was just church. And they have church there. If all you do is raise your hand in that church, an usher will escort you to the altar to be prayed through.

Wow. I'm in leadership in a multicultural church, and this is exactly how it is. Sermons for "white" churches are soothing; for the mixed or "black" sermons, it's not a funeral; it's a "HOMECOMING CELEBRATION." (ambulance still there)
