  • At knowtheonetruegospel thanks for your comment but I dont need research or advice from mohio scientists i have my tipuna who have told me and passed down the stories and history of my people that is all i need you stick to what you believe and I'll do the same.

  • @karamalkel that's fine, too. i respect you for listening to your ancestors' stories. at the same time, did your ancestors really say they came from israel? i highly doubt it. now, are you aware that there were books BEFORE joseph smith "seer"ed his stories from a stone in a hat/translated from golden plates that told similar fictional stories, for entertainment? read the book, "view of the hebrews". joseph smith obviously plagarized from there, too. that was before he married other men's wives.

  • the correct pronunciation of the tribe is supposed to be Ngati Kahungungu where the 'Ng' in Ngati is pronounced exactly like the 'ng' in si(ng).

  • beautiful video thank you so much for posting it. as a maori member of the church who has recently become active again this video really touched me ...again thank you .

  • @karamalkel as a maori, did you know that the book of mormon's teaching about the native americans (and pacific peoples, too) having israelite ancestors is completely disproved by modern science? if you don't believe me, please do yourself a favor and look it up for yourself. mind you, don't go looking it up according to BYU apologists and BYU "scientists." go to completely unbiased sources and i'm sure you'll find that all the scientific (and Christian) world laughs at the Book of Mormon.

  • @knowtheonetruegospel here's a good place to start---search engine this USA Today article: DNA research and Mormon scholars changing basic beliefs.

I hope that Christ will open your eyes to the true, man-made nature of the mormon church. it is not a Christian church and Joseph Smith was a false prophet.

    God Bless You.

  • The numbers given out by the church are far from the truth. There are only about 4 million active members worldwide.

  • Have you counted? :)

The Church never says that all 13 million members are active, but I think your number of 4 million is quite low. Based on my experiences in different parts of the USA and other countries, it's probably 6-7 million who are active, attend Church weekly, pay tithing, etc. Millions others though may still believe even if they are not quite as active.

  • @lds9999 LDS Inc counts MANY ppl as Mormon members that dont consider themselves to be Mormon.

    Thats a fact.

  • 4 million? i dont think so, i live in fresno california and we have more thant 10,000 active members here. 5th largest city in california 500,000 people the other 4 larger sities, ALL have a population over 1000000 people LA being the largest with 4,000,000 people estimate that. this is only in california.
  • Are there any Mormoms out there that can help me with the Samoan language?
