This is GQ John. On one cold night in October 1983 my friends mom loaded us into a pickup truck and drove to the Greystone Theatre in Detroit to see a band called the Misfits. I was 14 years old! I stood on the fringe and watched people fly out of control and almost hit me! I can spot myself on this footage rather clearly in a few instances. I am the skinny kid that looks scared as fuck!
