The video is an edited version of the real music video for "Wanderlust" by singer/songwriter Bjork. Ratatat just took it and remixed it. I don't think the story of the music video is based on an actual Mongolian/Tibetan story/myth or anything.

Personally, I love this remix!! I love the original better, but I really adore great remixes, and this is a great remix.

mmm, i think some people thought that this creepy girl on her bag is herself, but in a conservative version, trying to stop her from travelling out from home town or native country. A battle between roots and wanderlust. And the giant is a kinda god, or pretection if you are atheist, that is playing with her all the way, making it hard sometimes, and nice and easy in other moments.
