With 35 years in the oil industry, where do you get your information that the planet is running out of oil?

Proof that most Americans know nothing about economics. The only way to lower the gas price is the lower demand. The best tax plan for that would be increase sales tax on cars/trucks that get less than avg25mpg and make any car that gets more than avg40mpg tax free for a year.

On a finite non-renewable resource. That is increasingly more expensive to extract and even factoring in technological improvements will not be able to keep pace with demand. You could drill every inch of planet possible and you will still face the same problem.
When you say "duh" you are speaking for your own lack of knowledge? Or have you swallowed the ANWAR and offshore bullshit so much it doesn't taste bad anymore?

McCain: one-man pork barrel project.
McCain claims to be fit enough to be president, but gets a DISABILITY check from the Navy.
He also gets a government check from the Senate, even though he has the worst attendance record of any current senator.
And third, he gets a Social Security Check!!!
He doesn't return any of these checks to the Treasury (U.S. taxpayers). So, he claims to be for smaller government, but I guess that only applies to you and me.
McCain is a one-man pork barrel project.

I live in NC(Black Mountain), but work in Greenville, SC. I buy all my gas for my car in SC. If we don't get rid of these Democratic crooks in Raleigh, this state is sunk.
