  • piquaquan where you use your arms as whips, cant get any better

  • ling xiaoyu! very cool

  • all i can see was her a-ss

  • Getting hit by her would really suck..........especially when your in traction

  • scorpion uses it in deadly alliance. =P

  • pi gua uses the momentum from swinging your limbs to cause greater damage.

  • I think this is a beautiful art form and fighting style. I agree with mythial, it can seem like a dance right now but wait until it is used in combat. Take capoeira for example, it looks like a cool dance and the object of the game is to not hit your opponent but if you are in the crossfire of one of those swinging kicks...

I want to learn this style.

  • You assume too much. I love the technical stuff, but in truth when it comes to combat tactics, takedowns and nerves sre what win the fight

  • awyeeaaa!!

    i want to learn this!!

    the moves of Xiaoyu!!

  • @kyutie14 If you want to be a Xiaoyou LIKE

    study piguaquan and longfist

  • piguaquan and bajiquan

  • "When pigua is added to baji, gods and demons will all be terrified. When baji is added to pigua, heroes will sigh knowing they are no match against it." (八極參劈掛,神鬼都害怕。劈掛參八極,英雄嘆莫及)

  • your retarded. Don't judge a style you've never seen in combat.

  • Piguaquan doesn't seem that practical or useful in a real fight either for self-defense or competition.

  • Yeah, piguaquan is flashy with the arm swings and stuff, but that doesn't mean it'll be good at doing any good amount of damage. I don't know, maybe it's just this lady's form. It doesn't look practical in a fight at all.

  • that's actually very wrong because all practitioners of the art have to harden their fists by breaking bricks and stuff in order to get past the impracticality of slapping your opponent in the face.

  • Seems like coreograohical random arm swings...

  • "choreographical random arm swings"?

So you see this as pre-set, rehersed random movements............hmmmm.

  • Ah, Piguaquan...so awesome...

*Uses both Helena from DoA and Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken*

  • Ling Xiaoyu makes it looks more easier and cuter. Somehow, the original version of it, well, it's really the same, but. O.o'' Interesting form.

  • Incorrect ultimateearner this is a very common self defense style taught in china and taiwan even today and just as tai chi chuan it is a real martial art as well. Just because people use a modified form of it for exercise doesn't negate the effect of the true martial art.

  • I think the Virtua Fighter series should add a pi gua quan fighter for their series since Tekken and Dead or Alive have their own. If ba ji quan is in all three series, Virtua Fighter should have pi gua quan, for the two arts were one.

  • I would very much like to learn this style of fighting.

  • I study this style alot and I know for a fact that Helena from DOA imitates this slgihtly better than Ling Xiayou from Tekken. However, this works out in Ling's favor in the fact that she hits 5x harder than Helena.

  • Impressive. She is pretty great isn't she?

  • I want to learn it Like Ling Xiaoyu

  • ling xiaoyu! and wat the heck is with this music? iys got like, down south fiddle music in it. lol.

  • ive seen this style but from hermit but i think he called it hikkaken

  • thats japanese for piguaquan xD

  • I'm sure we can all list off a number of characters who use this style in video games....

  • Scorpion (MK)

    Ling Xiayou (Tekken)

    Miharu (Tekken)

    Helena (DOA)

  • thats helena's style from dead or alive

  • yes... yes it is.

  • i hate it when noobs talk about china like they know anyshit about it omg!

  • does anyone know what song this is

  • Obviously Mr. H2Zman doesn't know much about the history of the less talked about regions of China.

    Please l2wiki. Thank you :D

  • you dumb shit northwestern china is all muslim

  • that is ling xiaoyu's style. she uses this style mixed with a little bagua zhang

  • hey that's ling xiaoyu's style from tekken =D

  • Her arms has got to hurt.

  • @midnightbliss69 I train this style a little bit and yes it does hurt. I actually swung my arms so much I burst a blood vessel in my hand. No wonder Taiji is more popular.

  • @midnightbliss69 Imagine being hit by her hands... I think that would hurt more. the style is to use the arms like whips the momentum of the swing increases the impact.

  • is she trying to catch something? :P

  • Beautiful...

  • its a chinese muslim created kung-fu to protect them self against persecutions..cool haha didnt knew that

  • actually Islam was brought to China in 651 (according to wikipedia), and the religion has played an important roll in chinas history. Also the largest population of Muslims isn't in the middle east or North Africa but Indonesia. Lastly China consists of many different religions than just Buddhism (ie Taoism), just figured you'd wanna know.

  • Oh sorry gents, that comment was aimed to some other fellow back, claiming that there wasn't any islam in China. Just didn't want you all thinking I was trying to give a history lesson for no reason what so ever.

  • @marvlez yeah im part chinese and mulim lol

  • @marvlez im part chinese and muslim

and also there is more styles we created i never knew that either its cool

  • very cool
