  • i think I'm in the minority, james' voice irritates me

  • @MouthOfTheUnknown I've always digged James' voice. Helps me appreciate Mark Oliver Everett's voice from the eels. Which is actually my favourite singing voice. Not because it sounds the best, but because I associate with it better.

  • @ZeroToNowhere never heard the eels before. I tend to be drawn to interesting, different sounding vocals....and if someone sings in this soft, delicate type way I get very picky

  • @MouthOfTheUnknown naw your not, he just doesnt sound good, granted he sounds better than their current one but the thing is the new one leaves the singing to the drummer and bassist

  • @666JasonVoorhees

    a sweet lil' pumpking =D

  • It's strange...

Because the Infinite Sadness is what gave me the most happiness.

  • wow that is so Beautiful. I think Billy is one of the greatest songwriters of any generation

  • @billhallsongs james iha wrote the song in its entirety

  • @drongovids

Wow! Thanks for telling me that. It is just beautiful. I appreciate it.

Did he write may of the other Pumpking songs as well?

    Bill

  • @billhallsongs He did a few, tho Corgan poked his nose into most of them. To my memory he did 'Blew Away' and 'Goodnight And Farewell' too.

  • @billhallsongs i'm gonna let you in on a secret- wikipedia

  • @drongovids

Thanks, that is beautiful writing indeed -bill

  • @billhallsongs dude just wiki it, its for all to see!

  • @billhallsongs this is a Iha's song!

  • i still gave the greatest 90s band award to the Pumpkins, sure Nirvana was incredibly important, and so were soundgarden, AIC, and Bush, but SP was the band that beat them all in creativity and variety... every original pumpkin album was good...from gish to machina 1, they were all top quality

  • @dalecampbl9 sorry, did you really include Bush?

  • Grosse nostalgie quand j'entends ça.

    l'age d'or.

  • this brings back old memories...:)

  • This song used to put me to sleep when I was 14, so peaceful and amazing. I love smashing pumpkins soo much.

  • @Harrisondot Same here dude, I used to put this cd on while I was going to sleep when I was about 14 15 in middle school. Still to this day it's one of my favorite rock albums.

  • @QuantumBasis I'm 16 now and for the last year or so I've felt like the Pumpkins have been my only friends. They sum up a lot of the things i feel and it's really comforting

  • @LawlessRick that was 16-17 for me. You'll grow out of it man, trust me!

  • @flashdrc Yeah you're right man! I listen to Radiohead now hahaha. No harm was intended by this, it was just my attempt at a joke. Thank you for your kind words :)

  • @QuantumBasis I dont believe... i'm 33 now, and sometimes i still put the cd to sleep. nice!!!

  • @QuantumBasis I dont believe... i'm 33 now, and sometimes i still put the cd to sleep. nice!!!

  • i think its one by one by foo fighters but you got the lyrics wrong

  • When I first heard this, It reminded me of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Strange, how the Pumpkin's music can bring back so much nostalgia such as a great movie.

  • Yeah James is great =)

  • big james iha fan. all his songs for pumpkins are amazing. thanks for posting.

  • it would be very surprising if billy wrote the lyrics for this

  • this song makes me feel soo much better when im sad god im soo lonley

  • rofl

  • there's a love that god puts in your heart

  • i like his voice

  • i wonder how this would have turned out if billy had sung it

  • wait.....if this isnt billy then who sung it?

  • James Iha. He used to be in the band.. but he left a while back. A great guitarist, but I prefer Billy to sing.

  • no way!! he sang this?! he's pretty good! i wasnt expecting this kinda voice from him.

  • he also sings on "blew away" from pisces iscariot.

  • cool

  • His live perfromance of this song are Horrible, specially on Turpentine kisses Bootleg

  • I disagree. I like the Turpentine Kisses version. Not as good, but still pretty good in it's "uniqueness".

  • Really? I always laugh when the climax of the song come, and he fails. In Spain we know him as "El Chino que hace gallos"

  • Indeed, but it'll never be better than Luna.

  • beautiful

  • i love this song it calms me down

  • know i know why u r so special for me my stellar twin U R THE OTHER HALF OF MEEEEEEEE!!!

  • You're the other HALF of MEEE

  • the asian guitarist sings this song

  • Seriously, I wanna sing this to the woman I marry during our reception
