I think they use aluminum roof, is because its lighter, and prevent heat build when parked in hot summer days

The outlander uses a 3.0. The Eclipse has a 3.8, the same motor found in the Endeavor and the Galant GT/Ralliart.

i like the new gauges. i never liked the red gauges on the current 07-09 Outlander. also, the interior looks much better than the current Outlander.

I love the guages in the current model, just wish their were more - Interior is the exact same other than the steering wheel & plastic on the dash - front looks good. I wonder how hard it would be to make the tops of the current models look like this prototype

Anyone who knows anything about cars knows these outlanders are quite capable cars. Their transmissions are quite exceptional as well. 4wd for off-road, 2wd for onroad fuel economy, manual for the fun of it, automatic for when you just don't feel like it. These cars are simply impressive for what you pay.

Common design cues are good, they make cars instantly recogizable and associated with a certain brand. Kind of like the BMW dual grille, they all have it, and it is a BMW trademark now.
