A number of reasons, one being that Sony still holds the rights to that show, along with a number of other Spidey merchandise. If you must blame Disney, do it because they didn't buy the rights from them.

A number of reasons, one being that Sony still holds the rights to that show, along with a number of other Spidey merchandise. If you must blame Disney, do it because they didn't buy the rights from them.
Me? There's a feeling I have that US might essentially be Spectacular Spidey with a different name.

If they make the Deadpool movie, it will probably be released under the Touchstone, or Hollywood Pictures banners. They're owned by Disney. The've made films like Color of Night, Judge Dredd, Pretty Woman, and Ruthless People. All rated R. Deapool will probably be released under one of those banners. Probably, with a R, or PG-13 rating.

There were certain episodes of Talespin that were extracted from cable viewership that Disney felt were related to 9-11 terrorist attacks + racial stereotypes. The episodes in question were Flying Deuces & Lost Horizons. Lost Horizons is one of my personal favorites in the show which is a shame because seeing that removed from the public for the sake of their terror fears is just stupid.
