Whether or not they were lip-syncing, they DID have to re-record everything, as this is Usagi's character song. Makoto's parts would have to be recorded in. I personally think that while they were lip-syncing, it doesn't take away at all from the overall beauty of the performance, and at least they didn't do what SOME American idols do, and just lip-sync the track itself, back-singers intact and all.

the only reason why i believe that they may be lip-singing during the concert is because... well, it'd be pretty hard to be dancing around and the song not sounding out of breath.

but that's only from my experience. upbeat dancing mixed with trying to keep your voice steady the whole time is not easy xD

Man, that choreography starting at around 3:15 or so was just amazing, and really impressive the girls pulled it off so fluently after only a month or so of rehearsal, apparently. :) It was cute to see their dual happiness that they'd executed it perfectly, giving each other the extra enthusiastic high five HeHe ^_^

I watched other pgsm videos after this and in an interview with Miyu (Usagi), Chisaki (Ami), and Keiko (Rei), Miyu shows her character cd and the title in the sub is "Here We Go." She also says that the song sounds like Usagi wrote the lyrics herself. :) Hope this helps.
