When I went to visit Bangladesh my mother closed the door and windows so no one would catch me eating in the middle of the day. India comes from the word Indus which is in Pakistan now. Bengal was united till1905. It was only divided between 1905-1911 Bengalis are a separate nation! India itself accepted it. Why was India enthusiastic to support Bengali Nationalism in 1971 only? Why not at time of 3rd June`47Plan when Bose and Suharwardy had presented the state for a Great Bengal?

When I went to visit Bangladesh my mother closed the door and windows so no one would catch me eating in the middle of the day. During ramadan a lot of shops don't serve food and if they do you're made to feel guilty for eating. Even in fucking England I was pestered to fast. that is not and never possible in that way.one option left and that is the general people should overthrow the present system and make a peoples rule where is no hypocrisy ,no dirty politics,no dictatorship and no bureau cracy and only possible either by the conciousness of general public or a total uprising where people of the both bengal understand that "kada chorachuri" from both bengal is nothing and no worty for them. Hey! 420oscar... You need a bit of refreshening of your knowledge. If your "Bose" is Netaji, remember, Netaji was lost by 1947. And it was not the "Indians" who "maryred" (sic.) Bangabondhu. Go to the annals and read them again. Don't you realize that had India wished, she could have held east pakistan as hostage and bartered it for the Azad Kashmir with Pakistan. But, we are a sensible nation and expect our neighbourly brethren to be such that we can co-exist. There is no point in uniting

btw, i'm a bangladeshi and think that most bangladeshis neither want west bengal to join bangladesh nor do they want to join india themselves. i think most west bengalis also dont care about bangladesh. since it's been like 70 yrs, we've become different! may be not culturally, but our economy, politics everything would keep us seperate.

Bangladesh liberation from Pakistan was a great acheivement of Bengali people. Now the remaining part of the great Bengali people in west (bengal province india) should also unite with their real brothers and make the great Bengal tiger nation which is destined to be the largest nation of south asia!! India comes from the word Indus which is in Pakistan now. Bengal was united till1905. It was only divided between 1905-1911 Bengalis are a separate nation! India itself accepted it. Why was India enthusiastic to support Bengali Nationalism in 1971 only? Why not at time of 3rd June`47Plan when Bose and Suharwardy had presented the state for a Great Bengal?
Bengalis have always fought for others
Its time now they fight for themselves

i am a bengali and live in Delhi.once i went to Bangladesh.Though it was a great country and i enjoyed everymoment ,i couldnt help thinking that this is other country.but as soon as i stepped in india i felt at home.this very thing proves that we r indian.frankly speaking i would like to accompany a hindi or tamil speaking boy rather than a bangladeshi.(dont take it otherwise,bengaladeshees r great and good) coz we r truely indian

we indians r not like u. We r the best of the world and happy with it. we r united and will b united. wt did u say? real brothers?????? now listen to me carefully. I am a bengali and an indian. 4 my India i can commit patricide,matricide,infantricide,genocide,fratricide and can send my state to the proudest throne of ultimate sacrifice if it can make good to my india. I can travest with bare foot the alter of krishna,allah or christ,indifferently.

@ssam00 I understand your sentiments kintu eta hote pare na. Indian Bengalis uphold their language and culture but at the same time they take pride in the collective mosaic of cultures that India is. Bangladesh will never be able to be part of a nation where they are just one amongst several while West Bengal will never want to secede from India.
What we can hope is a situation like Europe, common currency, free movement and trade, but different nations.
