  • V LOVE U BANGAALIIS HERE IN PAKISTAN.........

  • I'M PROUD TO BE A BENGALI !!!!!!!

  • I'm a muslim before anything else. I don't care what color, race or nationality my muslim brother comes from. And I love my homeland bangladesh, because as a muslim it is my duty to love my motherland.

  • @ytubeact123

A man is a human first---a man of once religion--may not be available instantly--in time of need--RAZAKARS --now hide their face--use religion as umbrella-- go to your father land --Fuckistan--you may be welcomed by --Islami bomb by a Muslim.

    In 1971 I fought for my country--almost killed by a co-religious person.

    farid,tx,USA

  • @farid1948 I am not sure what you are trying to point out. You can't put the blame on an entire nation for the ill deeds of an individual (namely Yahya khan). The people (in general) of pakistan do not hold any grudge against us, nor do they largely have anything to do with the 1971 war. Razakars were also a group, don't associate Islam with their selfish acts of hostility.

Your response aimed at me was: "F-word-istan", "Islami bomb". You are spouting off in ignorance. That was blindly rude!

  • @farid1948 u motherfucker son of a hindoo bitch. its bangalis like u we pakistanis hate. dont worry, i will fuck ur hindoo daughter. kali mata ka fudda. randi whore kali mata gets pakistani lund everyday. fuck u bastard. go check ur hindoo wife she has pakistani seeds from 71 deep inside her cunt hole. madarchod

  • Did you copy it from btv? I miss that btv rat att tar khobor!

  • it is a lovely dance and strange dressing.

  • I hate islam so much for marginalizing the wonderful art and culture of Bangladesh. When I go there for holiday I I can't eat in public places during ramadan.

What a load of bull crap.

  • @Ashitaka255 Last I heard Bangladesh wasn't running on theocracy. I've seen many people muslims (when for health or whatever reason can't fast) and non muslims eat in public places during Ramadan. What you wrote there was a load of bull crap. It's SAD how certain people have to drag religious propaganda into every single bloody thing. This is a SONG. Can you appreciate it for what it is and keep your hate for islam separate?

  • @adori66 I have no reason to LIE about my own damn country! Don't I want to proudly proclaim that I was born in Bangladesh? When I went to visit Bangladesh my mother closed the door and windows so no one would catch me eating in the middle of the day. During ramadan a lot of shops don't serve food and if they do you're made to feel guilty for eating. Even in fucking England I was pestered to fast. Accusing someone of having an agenda is easy, same as believing in a god but it's not true.

  • @Ashitaka255 Problem seems to be with those around you, not islam itself. If you have to blame something, blame your family/friends around you who're pestering you and making you feel guilty for not following what you don't believe in. & explain to them that you know better than the 2billion muslims in the world; and you don't follow their religion. Islam teaches "there is no compulsion in religion" so don't blame the religion for what the people around you are doing...

  • @Ashitaka255 And to reiterate, this is a song. Do we really need to insult other religions and argue about religion over a song??? ? Is it too hard to appreciate a nice song simply for what it is and not drag religion and politics into it (politics from some of the other comments posted here)??

  • @adori66 Oh, I appreciate the song. I think one of the best ever written. Tagore was a Hindu and I doubt he would've done as well in modern Bangladesh, and as he is one the biggest contributors to Bangladesh's art and culture I was merely lamenting the state of my birthplace; it's you who chose to defend the indefensible.

You're the one accusing me of making up bullshit, and if you'd ever been there you'd know I am right... or there is some serious cognitive dissonance in your mind.

  • Allah!! these bangali r kuffar, dancing like hindoos, bangladesh should reunite pakistan, we are muslims. pak is way richer than bangladesh(these few yrs r tough but in general), we can help overpopulated bangladesh. lets forget history, ur leaders were backstabbers, u dont know that, but we pakistanis know it, but as muslims we r ready to forgive & forget. u should pray to Allah that one day we both countries reunite again.bangladesh without pakistan would be a small & poor country. Salaam.

  • @bstingful hahhaha u paki killing people by bomb n now saying about peace?................a proper bengali means a proper human being

  • @bstingful you dont have the right to call anyone kuffar, Pakistan allows gay marriages, bikini models and other evil shit and you call yourselves muslims, we will never unite with because we are different, infact we are more closer to our hindus bengali brothers. This is classical bengali dance, nothing to do with religion.

  • @shaolin00 gay marriage in pakistan? did ur dad get married to his son? may be, cuz u r hindoo dick sucker, mother fucker, slum dweller, curry smelly black shit.look around all ur bangali girls r running after us pakistani guys to get superior seeds in their cunt holes. black shits low caste hindoo turned so called muslims, we r the pure muslims u r not even muslims.

  • @bstingful PURE MUSLIMS? all muslims here in UK celebrate Eid on one day and the Pakis celebrate another day.

  • @bstingful Can I remind all the people who dont know much, that the entire Subcontinent (India/Pakistan/Bangladesh even Afghanistan) was actually Hindu/Buddist BEFORE Islam came.

There is no such thing as Pure Muslims, if you declare your the "shahada" (faith) the you are 100% Muslim. The Arabs were the first Muslims, who were actually Pagans before.

  • @BoyBangla you are a fucking hindoo choora who got ruled by us for 1000 years.

  • @bstingful Please. If you have left school early, perhaps by expulsion, then I understand your ignorant response and I urge you to read some books on the history of the Subcontinent and Indeed the history of early Muslims in India.

All Muslim "Asians" are converts to Islam, from either Hinduism/Buddism or Paganism.

Please don't respond with a mouthful of dirty words, again; this reveals your true class.

  • We are Bengalee first, it is immetarial whether we are Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Buddhist.

Our language developed first, then came the religions, and finally we were politically divided.

  • love this

  • This song touches every bangli's Heart. I highly respect my culture and I hope it is alive as long as we live. If you are a person with heart then respect positives things like this.

  • @hijolhardy - This is a truly beautiful song full of depth both in music composition and lyrics. Whenever I hear this song, my eyes are full of tears. I am from India and I do not speak Bengali but I can appreciate every word and every tune of this great song, Bangladeshis must be so privileged and proud to have this song as their National Anthem.

  • RIdoyer rokto khoron............DHORMER name amra bhai bhai kata kati korechi are bangla make bivokto korechi... ..haire amar ..Bangla maa......4000 yrs amra eki sathe chilam.

  • BTW I actually do not dislike Hindi as a langage.I have read and liked Kaifi azmi and Harivansh Rai bachchan.

  • this is in continuation of the last English post.....

But molding everything in the same uniform way is oppressive it is another form of the oppressive law that is being enforced in Kashmir and North East.In that same way just like national integrity Hindi language is being enforced to the whole nation. The whole drama is in the interest of only some people and against the interest of large mass.I hope a better future for the people of India, culturally diverse India.viva la difference.

I have no problem with learning many languages.Any modern civilized man should do that.I am personally fond of "Urdu"...one of the most beautiful language But what this Indian government is doing is a form of "cultural imperialism",and this Indian government funded cultural imperialism can not be supported.Human resource Development ministry is spending 90% of the language development funding to spread hindi language. We should not have a problem in accepting a common language.

  • Frankly speaking...in the first place I am a Bengali.Because this identity comes to me naturally and I think language is much more important than this imposed idea of "united nation" which in the name of national language and national integrity oppressing every "regional" language and It is very much related to economy and everything.Bengali people have suffered many things partition, oppression in the name of so called national language and this nation state is creating a Hindi-Bollywood brand.

  • We always feel Bangladesh in our heart from Canada. I always missing my country. I love you BANGLADESH.

    Great work dear, keep going.

  • @shaolin00

Your comments indicates that you have deep root with your origin, acheived through your original roots. Probaly, your deep insight and understanding on country, culture, human being in general, and value of own culture made you possible write such a comment.Great! We need millions like you for peace and progress.

  • i am from india and non bengali i have always loved this song such beautiful song...

  • @shaa100 thanks for like this song ! i like this?

  • @shaa100

  • we are bangali i like amar sunar bangla

  • @shaa100 Rabindranath Tagore was a truly great man. He also the wrote the Indian national anthem which I also think is very beautiful.

And something that seems to be unique to him is that neither national anthem is Jingoistic but peaceful and full of beauty.

  • i like this anthem of Bangladesh....

    Greetings from PAKISTAN....

  • I love this song

  • Nevertheless, As India blurs the boundaries and gradually dilutes the regional languages and culture, e.g. Bengali Language in India, BANGLADESH WILL REMAIN THE LAST BASTION US BENGALIS AND OUR LANGUAGE AND CULTURE.

  • @BoyBangla you are going off topic dude. I never started any shit. My assumption is that Bangladeshis gets too much credit for doing nothing by associating with Bengalis. I just don't want you to call yourself a Bengali because you are not. :)

you are a Bangladeshi and be proud of it. yippie

  • @BoyBangla Not really. Bengali's healthy in India, and Hindi isn't the national language. India doesn't have a national language.

  • @manavkapur87 What ever mate, not another one on the bandwagon. Just look at the federal literature, e.g. in the National Courts, The Army, The Border Security Forces ... Shut up man ... you dont know what youre talking about.

  • @BoyBangla I'm not talking the arrant shit that Tourkolkata is- "too much credit for doing nothing" is nonsense. However, I'd like to point out that the language in the National Courts, and the army continues to be English. This is because Hindi has still not been accepted (and rightly so) throughout the country. I apologise if you think I don't know what I'm talking about, and shan't bother arguing the point.

  • @manavkapur87 PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR PASSPORT TO DETERMINE THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE OF INDIA - ITS HINDI (with English alongside).

(apologise for being a little frustrated at you, I thought you were another like tourkolkata asshole, but you have a more civilised approach. Thanks)

  • @manavkapur87 Indian Constitution section 343 (1) : "The official Language of the Union shall be Hindi in Devanagri Script"

Now whether you use the term "Official" of "National" the end result is the same: When important and serious documents are created i.e. Your Indian PASSPORT and PRINTED MONEY, HINDI IS USED. And therefore implicitly, Hindi is the undeclared (to avoid outrage among states) National Language of India.

  • When people talk of India, they don't think Bengali.

When people talk of Bengali, they don't think India.

    Hindi is for India [nationally]

    Bengali is for Bangladesh

  • PEOPLE ASSOCIATE HINDI, WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT INDIA. THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE IN INDIA SPEAK HINDI. IT IS THE LANGUAGE USED BY THE ADMINISTRATION OF INDIA, AND ACCEPTED AS THE BENCHMARK OF COMMUNICATION IN INDIA.

Hindi is synonymous to Indians - other languages are considered minor.

  • Who is this sad pathetic person going around trying to cause hate??

What you have no Identity, no real country? You have do make do with India my friend, as the Bengali language in the mainstream is hidden.

  • @parisa4 u guys stole it from us Bengalis.

    go back to banglaland.

  • @tourkolkata shut your filthy trap ...i'm sick and tired of your sick preachings you thick head..all i can see in this thread is you yapping on about 'your'and 'mine'bullshit. fucking narrow minded kolkata pigs, I know you people well wont even share a bar of candy with anyone how can one expect otherwise. You people stink and so does your city you yellow piece of shit. dont divide an entire people with your sick agenda

  • Bengalis(Indians) are liberals who believe in science and not religion.

Bangladeshis however believe in gods and such. : (

  • @BanglaOcean Dude..chillax.

Lets get this straight once and for all.

Bengalis are from West Bengal and they are Indian.

    Bangladeshis are from Bangladesh.

Our language however is the same. however, whereas Bengalis have perfected the language of Bangla to Bengali(more refined and shantinikethani), Bangladeshis still speak with a very deep accent.

  • First of all this is BENGALI...which is Indian.

this is not a bangladeshi song...its from West Bengal, India where all the hindus live.

  • I Just Love Our Bangladesh Anthem,, I Get This Tingle Inside I feel so proud!!.

  • guys for heaven sake just enjoy the video !!! ekhun onek bok bok hocchey stay one year away from west bengal or bangladesh and then write !!! u wil be frickin despo to come in contact with bengalis of WB or bangladesh ! dont kill such a gud video with hatred between mullahs and hindus ! it doesnt have anything to do wid this video !!!

    peace

  • @BanglaOcean Ya I too have soft corner for Bangladesh and also frustration of Muslim radicalism there and living away from ancestral land for political reasons.

But being Bengali is good but Being monochromatic in your identity is bad.

Yes I feel Proud of Bangladesh if it promotes Bengali culture cuisine and not radicalism funded by ISI.

    Joy Bangla

  • @jesuistahmid ..thats right..here in saudi too

  • Rabindranath Tagore is the greatest Bengali.

  • it has not been presented as anthem I think. probably it's an Indian video which has focused the song just as a Ravindra sangeet, not as national anthem of Bangladesh.

  • Amar shonar Bangla ami tomay bhalo bashi :)... And guys could you please be respectful for each other :) We all love each other, some of us gave life and blood each other.. to tai, amra jokhon karo shathe kotha bolbo, amara jeno ektu shomman kori shobai ke eta kheyal korar uchit..

  • sad to think, here in middle east..bangladeshi people is highly descriminated

  • Shut the hell up boy.

  • @cyanide444 I'm a girl.

And no, I will not. It's disrespectful

  • I'm saying that people can dance to a national anthem. Not everything is like it is in the West.

  • @cyanide444 what do you mean by that

  • very nice

  • I am a Pakistani. I was 4 years when we departed. The sweet Bengali songs still echo in my ears. I listened this "Amar Shonar Bangla", and I started weaping, as it touched my heart greatly. No doubt your Shonar Bangla is great. I love your Shonar Bangla. I love this song.

  • Ironic how a poem written to promote the unified spirit of Bengal at a time when it was divided in two by the British on the basis of religion is now the national anthem of the torn-off eastern half of the actual 'Bangla'.

  • Nice post.

  • i love u....Bangladesh miss u every sec ... hope see u soon

  • What do u mean under India?BANGLADESH has boarn by d help of INDIA to the cost of 15000 solders . we r Bengali of WB r proud that we r Indian . God save us from Lot of Bengali Muslim moulavis who speak Urdu mixing Bengali .True Bengali dont like to see blood but u r d ppl killd urself .Its proved dat u r most of Bangladeshis r Mukhalbengali not true Bengali.Mind it u r d ppl who r converted to Muslims from Hidu orgnl.

  • i have great respect for those hindus who refused to leave east bengal dispite fear of their lives, at the same time i dont hate the hindus who left for india, they might have change their nationality to indian but they'll always be bengali.

  • @shaolin00 I am Indian Bengali. My dad was born in Jessore, and six decades of stay in the western wing haven't faded his love for Dhanyakura, which I presume may have been a nondescript village. This particular song captures the Bengali attributes of serene courage and supreme self-sacrifice, attributes that may appear to militate against an world order dictated by cash. Dhaka must be praised for retaining the quintessentially Bengali tune in the official instrumental rendition of this song.

  • @shaolin00 no matter what bangladesh is on the Indian subcontinent. Also, culturally bangladeshi's are very close to Indian.

  • @shaolin00 Picking up on your comment, it may warm the very soul of your heart to know that after six decades of partition, those who left East Bengal for India, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildrb, use their 'parichay' as BANGAL first and the rest as they say is history! The hindus no more changed their nationality than the muslims of East Bengal did to become Pakistani.

  • OH MY BEAUTIFUL BANGLA I LOVE YOU EVER

  • Yeah thats what yor kind needs to do !!!

Bengalis identify as a people and culture and not by their religion

  • you should have also mentioned thatbangladesh is for all faggots, by the faggots and of the faggots

  • Bangla is indeed a great language...The National Anthems of Both India and Bangladesh are In Bangla..both written by the same person!

  • I want to see 100 million viewers in this video.............missing you my country........I'll get back soon to you.

  • This was wriitten be a Bengali Hindu for a United Bengal in INDIA- Bengalis will always be Indian..

  • Does that make me indian? i am a bangladeshi born in UK.

  • You can be whatever you want, we Bengalis and non-Bengalis in India have much love for our Bengali homeland- but we have no love for those who disown there history and the culture of being Indian.

You cant change history, but you can educate the future of the mistakes of the past.

This same song is sung in Bengal, India with the Indian flag!

  • You are a bengali first...Indian or Bangladeshi is inconsequential

  • oh my god ...you actually said that...respect your nation first you dumb bong. nation is above such jingoism that u bongs have inherited from yr parents.

  • @bong0706 tell those to Hindus who stay there.

  • @bong0706 I am a Bangal first. I know from my parents what it was like when they were uprooted to start afresh, to be refugees nowhere to go nowhere to live, wasn't exactly a picnic. And yet with the hell they lived through, they loved and identified themselves with East Bengal. So for me, forget being a Bengali first, Indian or Bangladesh, for me I am a Bangal.

  • sonar bangla ekhan mollar bangla hoye gache mollader bachate gele koran name oi antisocial doctrine theke oder bar kore ante habe

  • My Bangladesh, my home land.

  • @CryForCry Sonar Bangla is about Bengal.

you have been brainwashed by Bangladesh to think that its about your country. LMAO

Lord Tagore wrote that in Shantiniketan to honor the heritage of Golden Bengal.

  • @tourkolkata Well. Calcutta is the best, West Bengal is super in science, India is the best nation in the world, you (tourkolkata) is much better human being on the earth than ugly Banladeshi CryForFor -- so I accept everything. Rabindranath wrote all his songs and poems about only India. You are a proud Indian - I understand. Where is the problem then? Why are you spreading hate my friend?

  • @CryForCry I am tired of Bangladeshis calling themselves Bengalis to fit in.

  • he banga punga (purbo O paschim, ubhoy kakhsho)! jaater naame bajjati" aar koto din? Esho, shobai mile nijeke bachai. Kanda chura-churi kore shudhu pondoshrom e hobe, laabh kichui naai. • that is not and never possible in that way.one option left and that is the general people should overthrow the present system and make a peoples rule where is no hypocrisy ,no dirty politics,no dictatorship and no bureau cracy and only possible either by the conciousness of general public or a total uprising where people of the both bengal understand that "kada chorachuri" from both bengal is nothing and no worty for them. Joy bangla or shadin bangla

  • Hey! 420oscar... You need a bit of refreshening of your knowledge. If your "Bose" is Netaji, remember, Netaji was lost by 1947. And it was not the "Indians" who "maryred" (sic.) Bangabondhu. Go to the annals and read them again. Don't you realize that had India wished, she could have held east pakistan as hostage and bartered it for the Azad Kashmir with Pakistan. But, we are a sensible nation and expect our neighbourly brethren to be such that we can co-exist. There is no point in uniting

  • amader bharate mahila der jathesto samman dewa hoy tader independence ta onek besi but in bangladesh the picture is 180 degree apart. and the most lively example is Taslima Nasreen. so it is quite true that sonar bangla bole jatoi nachanachi koro asol chehara ta jathesto bhayanak. btw, i'm a bangladeshi and think that most bangladeshis neither want west bengal to join bangladesh nor do they want to join india themselves. i think most west bengalis also dont care about bangladesh. since it's been like 70 yrs, we've become different! may be not culturally, but our economy, politics everything would keep us seperate.

  • amen to that.

  • Good comment.

    after reading all these

u've pointed out the key thing

I love my national anthem very much

  • @oscarwild,

I am a Bengali Indian and proud 2 b an Indian. I luv and respect Bangladesh as well as pakistan or the greater Indian region. If u want a real worthycountry come and join us coz basically we all r Indians. But if u cannot ,its also ok.But dont try 2 tear my mother again.4 me my country stands head and shoulder above allah, god, iiswar. Gandhi and Tagore are more respectable than lord krishna or muhammad,or jesus. I can shed last drop of my blood 4 brothers frm south, northor west.

  • well sung, but i don't like the dance, nobody dances with the national anthem! i believe, it's a disrespect.

  • we indians r not like u. We r the best of the world and happy with it. we r united and will b united. wt did u say? real brothers?????? now listen to me carefully. I am a bengali and an indian. 4 my India i can commit patricide, matricide, infantricide, genocide, fratricide and can send my state to the proudest throne of ultimate sacrifice if it can make good to my india. I can travest with bare foot the alter of krishna, allah or christ, indifferently.

  • I am an Indian and I love this wonderful song!

I salute the people of Bangladesh for building a great secular democracy.

  • aasha korchi je dui bangla abar ak hoye jaabe

  • we do not need to unite, we need to build pure friendship, trust and mutual respect.

look, what happening in europe. they are not united but they can visit without limi, work and reside. we need brotherly relation. take care.

  • Excellent comments! I totally agree with you brother, hope that day comes soon with a single currency, world class universities, equal education, security and prosperity for all.

  • Ak din dui bangla abar ek hobe

  • @ssam00 I understand your sentiments kintu eta hote pare na. Indian Bengalis uphold their language and culture but at the same time they take pride in the collective mosaic of cultures that India is. Bangladesh will never be able to be part of a nation where they are just one amongst several while West Bengal will never want to secede from India.

What we can hope is a situation like Europe, common currency, free movement and trade, but different nations.

  • amar sonar bangla ami tomai valobashi..........mis u my mother

  • yes this is my golden bangladesh

  • @mdwahid not its not

    its my Golden Bengal.

jeez..whats with all these bangladeshis thinking that this is their song..lmao

anyway, the voice in the song should give it away. she doesn't have an pathetic rural accent..like a bangladeshi voice.

  • BEAUTIFUL MY BD...........
