Only seen the one trailer for Starcraft II, don't know anything else about it. Certainly appears to share themes with 40K. However, there are few completely original ideas left. Every idea draws it source from something else. Though I would not mind seeing a 40K version of STC :)

Zerg aren't really Bugs like these, The Zerglings also look a lot different then the Warriorbugs and are much weaker then the Warriorbugs.

the only similarity including getting torn up by squads of people with guns

and true zerglings are massivly deadly in teams and waves

the warrior can kill in waves of 1 to 5

Well the Warrior in the Roughneck series don't kill anyone and in the first movie alone one Warriorbug killed a lot of Troopers. But the Zerglings just have these claws but the rest of the design is more alien then bug like. Also are Zerglings only good against big targest and not against these Marines or the Protoss guys.

Well agains Mass Marines there is nothing you can do, you can kill a few with barnlings but thats all. Also against Mass Voids or Mass Thor you have not a chance.

@JazzJaRa true but then again a single zergling againts a lvl 0 armor and weapons (no stim pack) marine is easily either heavily damaged or killed, but zerglings are more of the basic infantry and they dont go for the big targets unless they're the only unit there to take the objective down. other wise yeah your right

and the protoss are like firebats when it comes to zerglings, they will kill them

and i meant that the spike things by the warrior's mouth looke dlike the zergling claw

Well on an 1 on 1 the Space Marine will win also against a 2 vs 1. Zerglings are good against these Tanks and Robots of the Terran. Ya i know you mean these both stab claws. but the rest is a complete other design, more alien then bug like.

actually a marine wont win a 2 v.s 1 if unless he has the academy upgrade shells or if has lvl 1or 2 weapons, in lvl 3 he'll kill them both in about 2 seconds, or if he actually does spott them before they reach him, but one zergling is usually killed in 2 v.s 1s

Well the Zerglings are more for scouting and as meat shield. The later Zergs are better, while my favourite is the Hydralisk and Roaches.

to get it striaght guys. this is base on the book more then the live action movie! if you read the book then you can see simliir things that happen. unlike the moive (which i enjoyed the actor who played as johnny rico) it' wasn't has much as the book in storytelling . but the movie put out alot of political and militry politics in it which came out okay. read the book it's interesting!

It's a mission that doesn't require too many people. Besides, the military's got many more missions at once and you can't just place 100 people at one place; they need them for others.

Their mission is more on the recon side. HQ would assign them a mech if the mission was either SAR (Search and Rescue) or anywhere stealth was not needed.

The stuff they use is determined by mission parameters. Problem is that mission parameters can change. Higher ups won't or forget to consider the possibility of a snag.

Actually, the Starship Troopers book came out several decades ago and gives a lot of inspiration to many modern Sci books, games, and cinema. If you like Aliens, Starcraft, Starship Trooper merchandise, Half Life, even Halo, etc, etc, you can assume Heinlein had some part in producing that.
