  • Does anyone have "Evie" live?

  • @lukemanify Do you, by chance, mean "Stevie?"

  • @TKTurboX EVIE is on the Heat in the Street album

  • @lukemanify DOH! I guess he didn't perform it that night.

  • A Band to have THIS CALIBER IN 2 GUITARISTS ???<,FUCK ME WOW !

Pat & Kirk & Band YOU Fuck'n Rock you Mother Fuckers !

  • Awesome video!!! Thanks:)

  • Great sound!

  • This is a great version. The original is one of my favorites, but the cheesy synth keyboard sounds date it badly. This - Pat on guitar and no keyboards ... rocks ...

  • Who is the guitarist playing at about 2:00? Already one of my favourite guitarists:-)

  • @Esbenmad I found out: Kirk McKim

  • @Esbenmad Kirk McKim...he is an awesome addition to The PTB!!!

  • Bad Ass

  • Just saw PT play this in Col. Ohio at The Bluestone'e New Years Eve show. Great show, Rick Derringer also.First time I saw Pat was in Charleston WV open for ACDC, PT, Pat Thrall, Mars and Tommy Alldridge destroyed the place. That particular line up was, in my opinion, possibly the greatest rock band in the world. Have seen Pat many times over the years and he has yet to dissapoint.

    Up the Hammerheads!

  • Favorite song from my favorite PT album! Thanx, TKTurboX!!!

  • @pdpryse You are quite welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!

  • @cptriana Well, now, that would be a copyright infringement, now, wouldn't it? I have exclusive permission for this live material. Now, about sounding much better? Seems you are the only visitor who has issues with the recording quality. Pat and Kirk both were astounded by the audio and video recording quality. Now, you could always be-bop down to your local music store and buy a copy of the original LP, or suffer through thousands upon thousands of other YouTube videos. Good luck! TKTurbo

  • That bass player is badass.... Kinda cool slower like this. Travers rocks.... and he's a good guy.

  • Played slower like this adds a whole new feel to it. Really nice. Thanks for the upload.

  • Love those chord changes 3:34!!!!!!

  • 2006? Wow - Pat looks and sounds great ... thanks for sharing.

  • Releashed on an album in the late 70's. See a little Robin Trower here?

  • no, it's not just you - the meter is horrible in the extreme....almost painful

  • drumming lets this song down.sometime,s feels as if its going to come 2 a halt, pity one of my fav song,s

  • this is bithin shit

  • I remember the 80's in Orlando, heard him at Green Parrot doing Elton, awesome..

  • PAT FRICKEN TRAVERS !

  • I remember hearing the live "go for what you know" album for the first time...ranks at the top of live albums ever released (along with UFO strangers in the night)...

Pat had Tommy Aldredge on drums who later went on to play for OZZY and Whitesnake.

  • This is probably my favorite of Pat's tunes.

  • Pat, like a good wine, gets better with age. Jim

  • I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!!!

  • I forgot what a great musician that Pat Travers is. It stands out because there is such shitty guitar driven music now.

  • Seems the drummer is having meter issues.

Kind of an odd version of this heavily driven keyboard original.

but still pretty cool except the meter issues.

( unless of course it is just me losing my sense of meter)

  • Yip! Found the right version!

  • mmmmm,,,i'm so getting into this music !!! xox

  • The drummer kinda irritates me though. He slows down and speeds up.

  • Stevie and Crash & Burn are two awesome songs! Go pat! You rock!

  • Awesome guitar tone! Smooth but crunchy.....

  • pat with tony almeida on guitar

  • haha, the guitarist/singer in my band is called pat travers ^-^

  • Excellent, I miss hearing the Pat Travers Band :-)

  • Vox Tonelabs? That's what they used in Jackson, TN last year.

  • Does anyone know what year this was recorded?

  • This video was recorded July 7th, 2006

  • One bad ass rendition Thanx Pat

  • @profilercms i980 was when it was released

  • Great version of a timeless classic. Tone cuts through steel on both guitars.

  • This Works...

  • This Still Jams..........................

  • Was Hoping To Find Studio Cut... But This Works...Thanks TK TURBO X....I Think ...

  • @waybent335 I had a blast recording it! You are more than welcome!

  • He is an amazing player check out a dvd released a year ago with Carmine Appice . Awesome stuff classic

  • GREAT recording. Fantastic job! Pat is a true treasure and so many posts have crap for audio, but any posts of Pat are better than none. A year of studing Travers should be required before any guitarists could post their own stuff on youtube. Thx Pat for keepin on.

  • TKTurboX does the best sound and video on YouTube....bar none.

  • Thank you for the kind words.

  • He was yesterday in Soest Germany. He play on the 5. Soester Blues Festival. He is a great Guitar player an singer. My favourite songs from Pat is Crash and Burn and Elijah.
