I have no respect for Ron Paul after setting that young soldier up to speak in full military uniform on your behalf in an effort to score points. Paul knew better. He knew that was prohibited by the military. Now the young man is facing reprimand from his commanders and surely his fellow comrades. As a potential commander-in-chief, will he support insubordination if it benefits him? This is a nation of laws, discipline and we definitely want a disciplined military. He wants a banana republic.

I see a Cain/Paul ticket not too far from now. Barack Obama can be defeated ONLY if Cain comes out the front runner and choses Dr. Ron Paul as his running mate. However if Obama dumps Biden and taps a female running mate president such as Sheila Jackson-Lee, Hillary Clinton, Or Leticia Van de Putte a Hispanic Senator were screwed.

so you're proud of what we've done for the past decade? blindly supporting your country isn't patriotism or loyalty, it's just that - being blind. taking a stand, and being strong enough to admit things aren't going the American way is the true sense of patriotism. it's easy to say things like, "i'm always proud to be American" it's much harder to be a patriot and stand up for our liberty. come join us, you won't regret it.

that isn't what i asked: are you proud of what we've done for the past decades? we've become the policeman of the world, putting our soldiers and finances at huge risk for reasons other than our national defense. oh, and we have killed thousands, if not millions, of civilians from other countries. America means a lot to me, too; a whole lot. that's why i'm not proud of what we've been doing, and want radical reform. i guess i'm just willing to admit it.

No put down of Ron Paul but often what happens when We think that We have Someone good they get In office then change. What America and the world need a government with No king or any type of one person ruler where The People vote on all the major Issues. Even Benjamin Franklin was against America having a president because presidents become kings. And also the last time I went to vote for Ralph Nader for president His name was Not on the voting form.

@doogleandalix Just found out when responding to someone else - ALASKA is also a closed primary state for Repubs only . SO if u live in Alaska, you must register REPUB to vote in the primary for Ron Paul.

seems more fundamental change is needed than just backing the next new (s)elected "leader"...even if (s)elected, presidents are marionettes which act within a corrupted and fundamentally flawed/rigged system who are not in the position to affect the sort of large-scale change which is needed...much bigger change is needed to address the sort of problems facing both americans and all of humanity in the present day and near/long-term future...out of the box collaborative solutions will be needed
